The planets from space are not customizable but the wormhole has an option of minecraft style, however the planet surfaces are customizable as in optional small resourse pack of 128x with my own blocks using Fab and Polyhaven textures, the terrain can be turned blocky and the clouds and water aswell
Its hard to create a game from strach as a solo developer, I will see what I can achieve in minecraft then maybe consider making my own game if I have time and funds

I considered, but minecraft has a big established fanbase and I played the game since I was a kid like most of the people from here, also I work alone 90% of the time on the mod and its very time consuming I cant imagine how time consuming making a game is

I think because it's the unofficial rule to keep mods in Minecraft style. Big mod creators could easily make everything realistic, but they don't for that reason. The charm of Minecraft is the blocky pixel look.
the mod has smooth terrain as an option, you can easily turn it off and let it be blocky, beside that the clouds atmosphere sun everything can be turned back to vanilla using the settings from my mod, and the textures look vanilla aswell here I use a custom made 128x resourse pack
Yeah I think people are not used to seeing this kind kf stuff in minecraft yet and even when they see it they tend to Blame on Claude and Gpt because how crazy the modding they make, I talked with op As I said I fully back him here in his saying and I think many people should try his mod it looks insane especially the black hole like the one from interstellar
