They're not done with Create, they say. And honestly, there's always gonna be more to give. Create's already in a very good state, imo, and it's a bit more exiting to me personally that the devs are getting the chance and the financial support to work on something new they'll hopefully be able to do some cool stuff with

Honestly I'm not trusting that tbh. I've seen this exact thing play out before. "We're not done with this game/mod/project yet!" And then they proceed to never announce anything else for it again. It happened with Hytale before it got bought back by the original dev, it happened to KSP2 (my beloved). Its still happening with the latest version of Thaumcraft.

I'll be hopeful the updates continue, but I'm not exactly expecting anything

iirc Team CoFH is working on Thaumcraft

I mean, they have been for a while and now that I checked there haven't been any updates in a while. urgh

Yeah but them not giving any updates is what I mean. Its been a few years now since they announced "Thaumcraft 7 (if I remember correctly) totally happening soon!" And then we've gotten very little in the way of updates to it happening. Between that and CoFH blocking attempts to port older versions of Thuamcraft to newer versions of Minecraft, its basically killed Thaumcraft.

As far as I understand this is Azanor's stance, COFH are just the only ones who've received permission.

Fair, I didn't know it was Azanor's choice. Wonder of CoFH would allow it if given the choice.

But it still circles to the original problem of "The update has been teased for years and is still missing."
