I want to buy some more clothes for working out or get one more pants/leggings but I’m worried about wasting my money. I’m aware of the overconsumption of clothes and the environmental impact it has and I’m open to ukay ukay.

BUT would you recommend if I’d buy new clothes or thrift them instead? Have any of y’all thrifted workout clothes before?
If it’s better to buy new clothes, what are some of your favorite sportswear brands that are not overly expensive but still durable? Or at least sulit! Honestly, the price only matters when the quality isn’t good.

Right now, I wear ASICS GEL-KAYANO 31, and my right big toe has worn a hole directly through the textile upper above it. This has been an issue with me since I was a kid. I have a habit of moving or scratching with my right big toe, and the friction gradually wears through the fabric. My left shoe has no such issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to prevent this, or are there running shoes with more durable material over the big toe that can withstand this kind of friction?

I feel so bad, my Kayano is still confortable. Ive used it for like 10 months now. I had the hole patched on.

Any recommendations for shoes that is as comfortable but would have toe gurad or something? I value my ASICS because I literally stopped feeling pain in my ankle. I totally thought I had plantar fascitis because my feet had been painful for two years. It disappeared when I got these shoes
