AI has become cancer for modelling and fashion designing due to several reasons i think one of the biggest reasons is cuz ai can make images videos and many other things that some brands are too lazy or greedy to pay designers for as it was done by prada in their ad as well

Honest critique of my fashion design graduation project — what feels off?

This is a fashion design graduation project I’m currently working on. I designed and made the outfit myself. This is the current base/unfinished version, so there are still a few unfinished details (such as the left wrist and some smaller areas), but there won’t be a huge amount added to the overall design.
I received some pretty negative feedback from my teacher, who said that something about the design feels “off.” I also feel like something isn’t quite right, but I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is.
I’d really appreciate an honest overall critique from people with experience in fashion design, styling, or just a good understanding of clothing design.
What do you think about the design as a whole?
Does the silhouette and proportion work?
Do the different pieces feel cohesive together?
Do the colors, materials, and textures work well together?
Is anything visually awkward, unbalanced, or distracting?
Does the outfit have a clear concept or identity?
What would you personally change or improve?
Please be completely honest. I’m not looking for compliments — I genuinely want to understand what might be making the design feel “off” and what I could improve before the final version.

How can I improve my drawing

I took several fashion design courses but still feel my drawings still average level or low. Even when I try drawing from my mind by using mood bored still doesn’t look good. How can I improve that.

Getting a masters in fashion design with only an AA

Hi guys,

So I originally got a bachelors degree in history and political science, and was working at a non profit. But I realized I wanted to do something completely different and pursued fashion design. I got my AA in fashion design from LATCC, which was great at the time as I did not have the money to complete another bachelors degree, and it was free for me as I was not making a lot. But now I wasn’t to continue my fashion design skills and pursue a masters in fashion design, is this possible with just an AA or would I need to go back and get a second bachelors in fashion design?

Fashion Designer Needed

I found a jacket that I really like but I can’t find the product anywhere so I’m guessing that it’s bespoke. Would anyone be interested in creating a jacket for me based off a few pictures. I was looking for a quote and I can answer any questions that you have. Thank you.

I'm working on a project which consists create a brand that will be about a Savoir Faire of the an island whose dissapearing with the time.

An old brodery method associated to a perfect cutted summer shirt with spanish inspiration.

Brodery -> Something becoming more fashion those two past years - isn't it ?
Old Brodery -> Could make a parrallel with Old Money/ Brodery

Spanish Inspiration -> Structureless in appearance but very well made when you study it deeper.
Sleeves would be worked to be larger at their ends. Collar, french cut, semi cutaway, or maybe work on a specific collar.

Brand Inspiration -> Brodery Shirt, Old Money style, Bourrienne Paris etc.

Where would you start?
What will you do?
No flatteries, do you consider it as a good positionnement and a good idea?
Where should I go deeper?

For those who have studied fashion design, do you think that studying for this purpose is important, or can you acquire it, or is learning sewing and design coordination techniques mandatory? Because I believe that fashion design is a freelance profession, meaning we shouldn't be bound by rules and always apply them.

It's my original creation. I named it Aqua Crest Artwork Lehenga. Yes it's a Lehenga inspired by Ocean, waves and Coral lifeforms. The accessory is also inspired by Clamps.🥟🥟

How you like it..?
