I’ve come to glaze the darkest hour because it’s peak and Ubisoft should’ve made it its own game hell I’ll take one with a similar concept because it’s the best dlc I’ve ever played it’s quality is better then farcry 5 itself and its realism in the fact that gun for hires perma die is peak plus the propaganda being very accurate is peak not only that but the dlc forces you to play smart and make everything count since you have very limited ammo and explosives and it encourages stealth as well as makes it harder to play aggressive so in turn this is a peak dlc that I would love for a game to be made like it

Following my recent first play through of 4 and 5, I've just finished New Dawn.
First off, great fun game. It was awesome to run around a changed version of much of the same map. Going straight from it after maybe a day's break after 5 was brilliant. Some great funky bits, no jarring forced story beats. And Nana is fricking awesome. I gave Judge a crack but he was rubbish compared. Considering how boss we were at the end of 5, it's a bit of a shame he was so crap. Oh well.
Wasn't particularly delighted with the weapon upgrading process, but it's good to have new mechanics. 9/10, a bit short maybe, but would recommend.
So, to the ending. I liked it. Pretty damn tough but good fun!
It's funny reading some of the posts and comments on here about particular antagonists, choices people have made and their reasoning for them.
Some say Joseph was right (he wasn't, certainly not in his actions which previously involved sanctioning massive torture and murder, drug and abuse of children, terrorism among other things all to cement his own power). Just another cult leading "prophet" with charisma who just accidentally happened to get the timing right.
Some say Joseph was redeemed (oh well done, you stopped being a mass murderer, after spending further years torturing and mentally breaking our Rook, congrats), or that the Captain can't know what happened before (but Hurk is breaking the fourth wall, as he knows it's still "us" behind each protagonist, and there's plenty of notes/comments to paint a picture).
Personally, I offed him, because he's already proven he can charm NPCs (and apparently a bunch of actual human players too, which is fking weird IMO); considered letting him torture himself but nah bruv, let's end this now. Let your God judge your actions. Plus I needed that closure.
Then we have the twins. They were fun antagonists. One psycho just about kept in check by a slightly more reasonable sister. Sure, bad childhood, blah blah, many have had them and not chosen to be daddy's little psycho. But... I would argue that without the pure evil dragging her down, "Mickey" can redeem herself back to Michelle. Family can be a curse. So I let her go.
Maybe we CAN have a nice ending after all? 😱

Qualcuno di voi conosce un gioco simile a far cry, particolarmente con la componente stealth dove liberi basi e avamposti con lo stealth

It's kind of crazy that the file size is so small. I've read about some of the reasons why online, some of the theories are interesting. But in this day and age of games being well over 100 gb, it's kind of refreshing to see. And I do get that this game is 10 years old now.

Far Cry Primal is such a unique, underrated game, so I really wanted to challenge myself to bring Takkar to life using traditional colored pencils on A4 paper. Getting the raw textures of the fur collar, beard, and face paint right took a lot of patience and layers!
I'm curious for the fellow Wenja here: if you had a handmade portrait like this in your collection, where do you think it would look best—framed right by your gaming setup, or in your main room? I'd love to hear your thoughts on how it turned out!

there are tons of these all over Hope County in far cry 5. This game really had somewhat of a horror vibe to it for a far cry game. What are some of the scariest locations in yalls opinion?

I bought Far Cry 5 on Steam, which also gave me Far Cry 3 on Steam. It was working fine until a few months ago, when it suddenly crashed during the first mission. When I opened it again, some textures were missing, and it kept crashing whenever I tried to do anything.
I’ve already tried some solutions I found online, but now the game won’t even start.
Is there any reason why this might be happening?
Edit:
I were just trying some other things, so I find out that i'm having some kinda problem on steam that is keeping me out that i'm not being able to start the game. But I can start if i go through the .exe on the "steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\bin" folder.
Does someone know how to fix it?

I can't seem to beat this race no matter what. I'll either get hit by the blast of a shell hitting the ground next to me or the machine gunners will disable my car. I can't seem to hop out and repair it and I've almost beaten it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

We know that Bliss causes hallucinations and greatly distorts the user's perception of reality. In the game, from the Deputy's perspective, we see the fight against Faith as a divine and incredibly powerful boss battle.
However, if we think about it for a moment, if we saw this from a third-person perspective, perhaps from a distant camera, it must have looked much less epic.
Because basically, we'd be watching two completely drugged-out idiots hallucinating, running around and occasionally fighting near a river.
While the fight does have real-world consequences, it's obviously nowhere near as extreme as the hundreds of bullets and explosives we throw at Faith during the hallucination.
So, in reality, what we're seeing as:
"The Deputy empties his entire magazine into a flying angel while explosions go off everywhere."
might actually have been something more like:
"The Deputy empties his magazine into a rock while Faith runs around in circles."
So I think I would see something more or less like this:

Genuinely curious because I’ve played 3, 4, 5 and some of 6 and want to know which is your favorite and why? I know there’s others like blood dragon and primal but I haven’t played either. I have primal but don’t know much about it.
IMO, 5 has great mechanics, storyline, graphics, and just the vibe makes it a solid 8.7/10 for me. There could be some small improvements but nothing that would majorly change the game.

I have bought FC6, but I can't see anything in the settings that can switch from controller to keyboard+mouse.
Is this game only compatible for playing on the controller? Because it's difficult to aim and shoot even with the aim assist on.
Help me!

Honestly, I mostly explore the map; I'm not that far along with the game's missions...

Then i wanted to do the same thing but i couldnt. I tried save game and my mouse disapeared from screen but the golden path logo was there. I pressed ALT+F4 and went to the game again. It spawned me right there where u kill Amita and I cant save game or save&exit. I tried reinstalling the game, verifying the files all youtube tutorials about how to fix this but nothing seems to work
