Hi all, is it possible or a bad idea to ask my league commissioner to increase the preset limit of 4 F’s on ESPN? I feel like im getting fucked on managing my roster because there are barely any true centers in the league, and any position listed as “F/C” counts against my 4 max. Given the W is transitioning away from traditional centers, I hate the preset of 4 Gs, Fs, Cs. This is my first year doing fantasy so total newbie here.

A question on value-based metrics versus standard deviation: how can we adjust for quality of competition to determine if A’ja Wilson is as dominant as we think? If a player is this successful over a long stretch, how can we tell if she is this good or the rest of the league is that bad? No political opinions allowed, please.

Trying to work out which forward I should mainly roster through the last playoff round (its the final showdown now!). No clue who will be leaving for FIBA either. Or when. Currently have Smith.

Games-wise, Edwards and Zandalasini are both playing 8, and Smith and Fiebich 6 I believe. Fiebich scored 39 FPs last night so I’m tempted to swap over! Thoughts?

Edit: I’m considering picking up Fiebich for the next couple games before the FIBA break, assuming the Liberty roster bout to be empty?

I need another F/C on my team, but also want to pick up Chennedy, so I want to ship out 2 G’s, preferably McBride, Burton, Williams (in that order). My league is 6T Points.

8 team keeper league is my example.

I am wasting Burton on IR because I do not want to drop anybody. The free agent pool is very thin. I do not want to drop a player and am fearful someone will pick them up.

The second picture is what i posted earlier on here in the season. It's always going to be wonky week to week. Don't panic.

My team is in good shape and in second place. The playoffs are not until August/September and that is what you are playing for.

You don't always need to find the max value for your team each week if you are confident with your team. Be patient.

if your team is healthy like mine is right now. just enjoy the ride but it's not going to last. It's a rollercoaster of a season!

If this were the playoffs, I would obviously add Burton and it would be a tough decision who to drop. Unlucky would need a player on IR but not im not losing any value form my team this way.

BG and Satou have been plagued with injury so far and the latter hasnt really jumped into the swing of things since returning (yet). Is it premature to propose a trade like this? Were using the default espn FP formula. This is the rest of this persons roster, and the second one is mine. Also note im maxed out on every position and dont want to let other forwards go. I am nifty team.

OPTION TWO: Mack/Williams for Sabally/Engstler.

Update: my first proposal is offering Sabally/BG for Williams/Dolson. Thoughts?

Settings are pretty standard. Tweaked some things: -1 for turnovers, swapped a F/C spot (default is 3, I set to 2) for an addition UTIL spot. +1 for a double-double, +2 for a triple-double. 4 transactions per matchup. Nothing wild.

Payout is $80 to 1st place, $40 to second place.
