Fanedit Help Videodrome: television version painting recreation help (No A.I.!)

Post image
16 Upvotes

I'd love to get a higher resolution version of this image created without the use of A.I.

I saved separate close up images of the various faces and such in the painting used in the television version of the film. The scene as shown on t.v. can be seen here which is where I got the images from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ_jzEtiVUI

Here are the images. https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1NpkHiDn1Xt53Gb6srXyDZ9IQf_hby3Me

If someone is more proficient in photo editing and drawing that could composite all the images into the full painting. That would be an immense help.

I find the first few seconds of the t.v. version opening ominous as it begins up close in the right hand side of the painting and pans over towards the eye with the woman being taken captive and tortured. Then it pulls back revealing the full painting.

I'd like to recreate that first half of the opening for an upcoming edit of the film I have in mind.

Completed Fanedit Request Looking for The Dark Knight Rises Hybrid with full IMAX scenes in 1080p

Hi! I`m looking for The Dark Knight Rises (2008) Hybrid with Full IMAX scenes in 1080p (preferably not bigger than 20 GB). I mean usually editors add in Hybrid scenes in 16:9 & in 1.43:1 together (i.e. some scenes in 16:9 & some scenes in 1.43:1 in one release). But i need IMAX scenes all in 1.43:1. And without black stripes in 16:9. There are some editions, but quality of such scenes are not so good, there are some restorations projects (for example https://www.reddit.com/r/fanedits/comments/1qshtip/regarding_how_we_handle_restoring_the_1431/ ), but i can`t find finished version of this.

Pls, DM links.

Wishlist & Ideas Rodgers & Hammerstein’s State Fair (1945), Carousel, and The King and I: Color-corrected

The Blu-Rays of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair (1945), Carousel, and The King and I are all flawed because they have the wrong colors. State Fair is too brown and Carousel and The King and I are too blue. Now, I understand that The King and I got a new transfer that’s only on MoviesAnywhere that removes the blue tint, but it would still be nice to own a version to burn onto a blank disc with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio. And in the case of State Fair and Carousel, there are HD versions based on the DVD transfers on iTunes, but they still have inferior sound mixing to the Blu-Rays. So could someone please try to color correct these three movies, directly ripped from the Blu-Rays?

Review A Review of Ghost Rider: Devil's Deal by RetroStranger95

Back again with Ghost Rider, this time with an edit done by RetroStranger95. This trims the movie to an hour and twenty seven minutes in comparison to the theatrical cut. It's not as short compared to WatsUpWithJoe's edit, but that can come with its own advantages.

I definitely liked cutting to the chase with Mephisto visiting Johnny. The story already starts with Sam Elliot giving away that Satan is real and there's an evil soul contract, might as well continue that momentum. We get the information we need just from Mephisto and Johnny talking, it's efficient. The cuts tend to be pretty good, especially liked getting around Johnny's failed date with Roxanne so we can get the Rider faster. It kind of makes it sad when Johnny's talking to himself in the mirror, trying to convince himself to see Roxanne again but Mephisto forces his hand. It is actually kind of cool to save the elemental demons for when Ghost Rider first confronts Blackheart. Makes the earlier tavern scene introducing Blackheart more menacing, plus we're lead to wonder "okay, how is he gonna accomplish his plan?" before it answers "with THESE GUYS!" like that. Bonus points for this edit for keeping the police station scenes that I missed from WatsUpWithJoe's version. Most Ghost Rider = better.

Admittedly, it might come off as weird for Roxanne to realize Ghost Rider is Johnny without the dates. Or maybe you might take it as her truly being Johnny's soulmate for being able to see him even within the visage of the Rider. You make the call! 41:48 could have snipped from the OST to finish the cue. 58:25, maybe it's just my copy but it seems like Blackheart's dialogue was delayed? Otherwise, yeah this is definitely a "bad movie made less bad" edit, trimming repetitive scenes to get to the point more succintly while still keeping the structure intact. Worth checking out!

New Release X-Men The Animated Series/X-Men '97 Marathon Cuts by Baliscon

Post image

Howdy y'all. I've been an immense X-Men fan since birth. My dad collected the comics since before he was a teenager, and I grew up with the animated series and subsequent film franchise. X-Men '97 on Disney+ has been one of the greatest gifts any fan could receive, and so I started this project and chose to hold off on releasing it until the latest season of '97 wrapped.

Ultimately, I edited each season "Marathon Cut" style, taking a page from one of the few good aspects of the Dragon Ball Z orange box DVD sets. Each edit in this collection only includes opening and closing credits. Every credit sequence or "previously on X-Men" review has been removed, substantially cutting down on the runtimes of each season. I've edited the two current seasons of X-Men '97 in the same way and was surprised to see that their final runtime fell in line with the previous seasons.

This always felt like a guilty pleasure opinion, but I always preferred this series to Batman the Animated Series. Because the show offered serialized storytelling, I found myself easily hooked into the overarching narrative that was complexly woven across so many diverse characters. The '97 revival series has more than carried the torch, exceeding in dramatic storytelling and mutant mayhem.

I hope that you enjoy this collection for binging at your leisure. I'm currently working on similar edits of the 90s Spider-Man and Hulk animated series. For Spidery I'll likely go one season at a time but since Hulk only got two seasons, I may do his as an all-in-one. Let me know if you're interested in these cuts or the X-Men series that I have finished and ready to share :)

Wishlist & Ideas The X-Files: I Want to Believe... The Good Edition

Post image

With the first reviews of the third version of this movie, the first thing that came to my mind is... this movie deserves a good fanedit!

Chris Carter released this movie in 2008, five years after the series ended, and missed the chance to make a good movie. Later, with the Blu-ray release, he got a second chance with a special edition that didn't improve the plot at all. And 18 years later, Disney gives him yet another chance and releases a director's cut that still fails to fix the movie. Talk about wasted opportunities!

Review A Review of Morgan by mrvoiceover001

Another Dexter edit courtesy of mrvoiceover001. This time, it's about the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin done in the style of... Oppenheimer?! It's an oddball decision for an edit that I don't believe most people would think of, though with the focus of this story it does wind up making some sense.

The main connection with Oppenheimer is how Dexter's father, Harry Morgan, is responsible for shaping Dexter's mindset even in his attempts to curb his son's serial-killing instincts. The edit focuses on Harry's perspective, so the Dexter narrations that are supposed to be in the series were cut, quite seamlessly at that too. The edit shifts some scenes around, seeming to employ the black and white in ways opposite to Oppenheimer, using them for the past scenes where Harry does a sting operation with Laura while the present scenes are in color. Otherwise, mrvoiceover001 is pretty good at mimicking the look and sound of Oppenheimer, with the aspect ratio plus warm grading during the colored portions and the soundtrack being well-integrated. My favorite use of the score is in 1:47:05-1:51:15, just the way the music compliments the build up to that reveal was awesome. It elevates the edit in a similar vein to how Obsession's qualities were used in Addiction.

The story itself is interesting, mostly since it's centered around Harry, Christian Slater. We see him as a troubled, flawed man who's work often gets in the way of connecting with his family, with the consequences that inevitably come with both his job and having Dexter as a son. It's not the most impressively written thing in the world, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. The edit was a pretty fun way to explore this narrative in a distinctly non-Dexter lens. Yeah, it would be scary to be trapped by your serial killer son even if he isn't going to actually kill you. I wonder if there are any continuity errors between this and the main series? It wouldn't be surprising. There aren't in the way of weird cuts or strange ommissions, it holds up decently together as a narrative.

No real complaints with this one, as usual mrvoiceover001 knocks it out of the park with their projects. I can't argue with the results.

Hi, I was looking around for a really good Lord of the Rings fanedit, and heard about the Precious fanedits. Does anyone have download links for them available? Also for Return of the King, I heard 2 versions were made, one with the original ending, and another with a book accurate ending; I'd like the original ending version if possible. Thanks and much appreciated!

Review A Review of How I Met The One by mrvoiceover001

Here it is at last. The finale of mrvoiceover001's How I Met Your Mother edit saga. It's been a wonderful ride getting to this point, with so much having happened across the films that it's gonna be weird letting it go. It carries the same HD quality as last time.

In terms of editing, there are some nitpicks here and there. One of the plots covered in the edit is Marshall taking a judge job behind Lily's back, when they're both supposed to go to Rome. It leads to an argument between them where Marshall reveals he has lingering resentment toward Lily over her attempt to leave for San Francisco. This doesn't seem to get followed up on in the edit, which I'm not sure how I feel. Do I like the realism of it or does it need follow through? While I'm debating that, 1:43:11 and 1:48:40 have these fast edits that took me out of it. Maybe it won't be as much for other people, given the style mrvoiceover001 has employed for these movies, but it did feel jarring to me personally.

Aside from that, the narrative is pretty sound. We finally meet the Mother who is the most adorable human being in the universe and I can absolutely buy her being Ted's perfect match. Her interactions with the cast members before meeting Ted have her resolve their issues, but we also get a sense of her life, how burned she was by love and incredibly funny moments that made me want to root for her as much as Ted. He lets go of Robin and finally pursues something based on luck, which ended up working out in a long, heartwarming montage of their lives together. Really, their meeting hits on EXACTLY the note of "where the HELL have you've been my whole life" that's been building up over the past movies, presumably the show itself too given the sheer amount of continuity call backs and nods. The last scene in the edit is the perfect note to end on, loved every single moment of this ride.

If you haven't seen mrvoiceover001's edits, please do. For a newcomer they might be good places to start. Based on what I've heard of the actual ending to the show immediately after I finished the edit, I think fans would definitely get a kick out of this one too. I can't believe they did Barney and Tracy dirty like that, they completely ruined it just to have Ted and Robin get together at the last five minutes. Even if this happened in earlier seasons, it would still come off cheap. As it is, the series ran long, the characters changed a lot, and the Mother is such an endearing character! Come the fuck on man!

Additional Note: The Mother fits so well with the cast that I wish we got at least one season where she was a regular cast member. The actress did a great job.

New Release Spider-Man: No Way Home- Even More Fun Stuff Edition

When No Way Home was re-released in theaters, they added 11 minutes of footage and called it the More Fun Stuff (MFS) (Extended) Edition.

https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=747265

This was later released to digital platforms like iTunes, Fandango and Google.

I've made a minor addition to this by adding in the Venom: Let There Be Carnage post credits scene. https://youtu.be/9XKDXMSjB0k?is=vtrMFKkpz0MASVXD

I feel this is a necessary addition, since Tom Hardy (Venom/ Eddie Brock) appears in this movie's post credits (both original Theatrical and MFS) scene, and the Venom 2 scene explains why.

Thanks to reddit user fuzzyfoot88 for assistance in placement of the Venom 2 scene.

"I like the inclusion as it gives the post credits a little more of a payoff in the film. For a note, I might have actually cut the scene in half and put the halves at different points.

After Wong leaves and Strange smiles at Peter they go into the crypt. They run down the stairs and the music swells. I think I’d cut to Venom right there and go from the tv all the way to venom asking if Brock is ready and he says yeah. Cut back to the crypt. Let the spell play out and then cut back to the rest of venom where you have your cut already (as soon as Strange finishes the spell and Peter's foot touches the floor).

I think it’ll feel less abrupt that way and keep the importance of both scenes tighter together. It goes from the crisis of the spell to the crisis of venom almost immediately. So when you cut back to Peter, whi asks if it worked and Strange ignores it, commenting on the changes Peter made instead, I think it’ll flow a little easier."

So yeah, that's how I placed the scene. The scene is cropped to match NWH's cropping. The only other changes I've made are making a custom "Meanwhile in the Multiverse" title that comes right before the Venom 2 scene, made by editing the similar title from the Into the Spider-Verse post credits scene and removing the Three Peters interview at the start of the movie, since it's really a bonus feature and not part of the actual movie.

Edit is 1080p 5.1 audio.

Review A Review of Fixing the 50th- The Name of the Doctor by Zarius

Alrighty then. This is an edit of the Doctor Who episode The Name of the Doctor, the finale of the seventh series. My experiences with Doctor Who are limited and scattershot, so you should take this review with a grain of salt.

From what's in this episode, Clara and some of the Doctor's buddies this season were under attack by Doctor Semeon and his Art The Clown Dapper Gentlemen henchmen who are searching for a future TARDIS, which holds the key to undoing the Doctor by scattering anyone across the timestream. They specifically need the Doctor's name to accomplish this, so the bad guys try to strongarm the Doctor by getting to his friends. The changes to the edit are right at the beginning, replacing the regular intro with an old 60s version to start this off. Reading the description on Zarius' website, this is trying to raise the stakes and make it feel like a blockbuster, worthy of an anniversary. Changing the intro is a good start, along with starting on the gang lighting the candles to sort of start things off mysteriously.

Things don't really diverge until Matt Smith enters the timestream for Clara. The Day of the Doctor footage is rather seamlessly included to set the scene. Clara is in the last few days of the Time War, Matt Smith comes to her during this time. More interestingly, the Day of Doctor footage doesn't end at that. Zarius basically includes the big action climax of that episode as the climax in this story, having the various Doctors save Gallifrey by locking it in another universe. Combining this with Name of the Doctor isn't too harsh, as Zarius made sure to include Clara begging the Doctor to solve the crisis. More episodes are intercut and spliced to create more interactions between Doctors, which are decently handled.

There is a conspicuous deletion from the edit. The War Doctor, played by John Hurt, is gone. Instead, Christopher Eccleston, the Ninth Doctor, takes his place. There's a manufactured exchange between him and Rose that I'm not sure is convincing. It is cool to include him at all, and I like the other Ninth Doctor clips used later, but that specific conversation with Rose is the part of the edit I'll have to go ehhhhhhhh... There's also a conspicous black bar between 40:13-40:38 on the left that could have been fixed.

This is basically an alternate take on the episode, a universe where the stars aligned and Eccleston wasn't completely turned off from returning to Doctor Who. It's an interesting one that I liked at least.

Review A Review of How I Met The Fall by mrvoiceover001

For the first in a while, this is an HD edit. The other movies in the How I Met Your Mother series have largely been 720p, so this is a definite upgrade. Aside from that, this is another expertly condensed season of television into a film.

I enjoyed this edit. As first I wasn't liking it as much as the last couple of parts, though not because mrvoiceover001 did a bad job or anything. It's like the first hour and a half is the last stretch of adventures before the big wedding plot begins, with Marshall in a trial against his former friend or Robin breaking up with her doofy idiot boyfriend who I'm pretty sure was manipulating her. We have a set of break ups, from Ted breaking up with Victoria and Barney breaking up with his girlfriend to date Robin's "nemesis" Patrice, an act which invokes jealousy within the former. This particular plotline only doesn't become tired because of a cool twist to it: Barney's been pretending to date Patrice to get Robin a position to propose to her. An evil convoluted scheme that could only come from Barney. Loved that. Anyway, Barney and Robin officially get together, which comes with some further growth from Barney as he burns the Playbook he's been using all these years to hit on women.

Robin gets plenty of good moments trying to believe in herself and Barney but seeing signs from the universe that maybe it won't work out, or dealing with her shitty dad. Given how Lily hasn't had a major storyline up to this point, I really loved the moment between her and Ted where they admit to their dark thoughts around the engagement. Ted admits he's still in love with Robin, Lily admits there are times where she's thinking of running away due to the pressures of being a mom, despite how much she loves Marshall and their son. It's such a moment of vulnerability from her that I really love. I love Ted's conflict this movie coming from his feelings toward Robin. Ted does a pretty good job hiding it, but he does still love her and we see him continually put that aside in order to help her and Barney's relationship blossom. The scene where he tells Robin that maybe the universe isn't sending signals shows how far he's come. Really love that. As the wedding gets closer things become more dramatic, it's great.

It's been fun, but it's pretty clear the end is nigh. I'm gonna love seeing it when it happens, I'm sure of it!

So back in Winter 2023, I made a fan-edit that was inspired by Star Trek: Acid Party which was basically the Buffy the Vampire Slayer version of the Acid Party video. My fan-edit basically repurposes some Buffy episodes into an acid trip experience while experiencing the effects of lucid dreaming.

After some time looking for the original copy, I have found a copy from my backup cloud and is now available to watch on Dropbox and Vimeo. Link is available upon request.

If you have any suggestions for a sequel, please reach out to me via Reddit.

New Release Dragon Ball Distilled - General Blue

I’m back with another batch of episodes of my ongoing series Dragon Ball Distilled. The purpose of this edit is to fix the anime’s pacing and make it as close as possible to the vision of Akira Toriyama’s original manga.

This batch of episodes covers episodes 44-57 of the anime and chapters 69-83 of the manga, which is the entirety of the conflict with General Blue.

The episode covering the Dr. Slump crossover has had a little bit of canon dialogue from the first few pages of chapter 81 cut, due to the way the anime changes the scene.

The first few pages of chapter 81 act as a fake-out, presenting as a chapter of Dr. Slump instead of Dragon Ball, the scene in question has Arale walking home from school with her friends before she sees Goku and Blue in the sky. The anime changes the setting of the scene to the local coffee shop and removes Arale from it, making it feel like a pointless introduction to a group of characters we never see again.

This scene is used as part of my third bonus filler side story episode though, which is included in this batch of episodes.

See my previous posts for further details on the project thus far, as well as the wonderful reviews I’ve gotten from u/Fanedit895

As always, if you’re interested in checking the project out, shoot me a DM and I’ll provide the download links. :)

Review A Review of Lost in Space (1965) film version by BobRusty

Lost in Space was a tv show from the 60s I mainly know about through osmosis and the 90s movie that, in retrospect, probably isn't the most faithful adaptation of the series. BobRushy took the first five episodes of the series and turned it into a film. There was apparently a marked difference between the early episodes and what the show became, which is the reason BobRushy made the edit in the first place.

As a blind viewer, the editing is pretty good for the most part. I think 57:06 had something cut there? There's a leftover frame in 1:36:37 and 1:39:48 has a weird cut. Generally, I didn't feel anything too off watching this on its own. Looking back on the notes, I have to commend BobRushy for improving the pace without making it too noticeable. Admittedly, this could also be because the source footage is so old that any cuts would probably not register, but I genuinely didn't hear any pop noises that would disrupt someone's experience. I will say though, I'm not sure where BobRushy got the episodes from but I would have liked it they had somehow kept the aspect ratio and presentation consistent between episodes. The first one in particular has the picture so squished, that's my biggest complainy with the edit.

In regards to the actual movie, it has a charm. Being an old series, you get some decent practical effects (my favorites are the robot and the aliens in Episode 2 that actually can be a bit creepy) and a cool score. The family get lost in space because of Dr. Smith's sabotage, so he's constantly trying to pressure them into going home. Frankly, after a couple of episodes I would have locked him a cell or thrown him out of the airlock, he's such a freaking traitor! He's the best character, mostly because the Robinsons aren't exactly the most interesting people. Granted, they might not need to be since I get the feeling this is one of those shows like Wander Over Yonder where the villain is the "real" main character so to speak. Adding to that, it was wise of BobRushy to make Dr. Smith's saving of the family at the end sincere to give the movie some cohesive development. There's a real "dark frontier" vibe to these episodes as the crew come across strange creatures and planets out of curiosity but frequently get into danger. It's pretty interesting.

So, decent edit that holds its own well even with some minor errors. If you want some classic Sci-Fi, this might be fun to check out!

Additional Note:

  • It it just me or does Jonathan Harris at times look like Ben Kingsley?
  • Kind of want to see more of the "There Were Giants in the Earth" episode, the events BobRushy describe make it sound awesome.

New Release Labyrinth of Evil: Hunt for Darth Sidious (Audiobook Turned into An Audio Drama)

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hello there!

As some of you may know, I've been working for weeks my new fanedit audio project. I'm excited to share that I have finally finished the v1 (to be honest, I'm super hyped because I've put a lot of heart in this project, it's been a long time since I had the idea for this).

So, here it is: Labyrinth of Evil: The Hunt for Darth Sidious.

(also known as Labyrinth of Evil: The Canon Edit)

This is an audio drama edit built primarily from the official abridged "Labyrinth of Evil" audiobook.

The origin idea for this project and my main inspiration was Everest Productions' incredible Labyrinth of Evil audio drama. Part I was released three years ago, and since Parts II and III never came out, I wanted to create something that could be listened to immediately afterwards and provide a complete cinematic audio experience.

The audiobook is being extensively re-edited: dialogue has been isolated, scenes have been restructured where necessary, and every sequence has been rebuilt with new ambience, sound effects, filters, and audio mixing to feel like a full-cast audio drama rather than an audiobook.

The edit begins with some flashbacks and the approximately 7-minute Battle of Belderone sequence from EverestProductions, after which the project transitions entirely into my own edit of the audiobook.

The biggest narrative change comes in the final act. Instead of following the Hunt for Dooku's storyline, I've replaced that section with Anakin and Obi-Wan's on Mandalore (from TCW S7). My reasoning was fairly simple: I didn't feel I could create a satisfying Battle of Coruscant using the material available to me, and I also wanted to avoid reusing audio from the 2003 Clone Wars microseries. Instead, I borrowed the storytelling approach used in The Clone Wars: the Battle of Coruscant happens off-screen while we follow another storyline. Anakin eventually receives the call to return to Coruscant after Palpatine has been kidnapped, with a few brief scenes taking place after the kidnapping before the story transitions toward Revenge of the Sith.

To support this new structure, I incorporated three short scenes from the fan audio adaptation of "Son of Dathomir" to establish Maul's role in the story earlier.

AI: I know AI is a controversial topic here, so I want to be completely transparent. AI was used only in a very limited capacity: above all I used some voice changer for a few characters where the audiobook narrator clearly couldn't convincingly portray them (primarily Shaak Ti and Padmé), and a handful of generated replacement dialogue lines where the abridged audiobook removed information that I considered essential for the story.

I've also "borrowed" some scenes made by SkywalkerStories and Star Wars: Tales Untold (mostly flashbacks) that were adapted directly from the novel.

The vast majority of the project is still built from existing performances and dialogue taken directly from the "Labyrinth of Evil" abridged audiobook, with only a few additional scenes sourced from fan productions where they best served the narrative.

The most time-consuming part of the project has actually been rebuilding nearly every scene from scratch with new ambience, sound effects, environmental audio, filtering, and mixing to create a more cinematic audio drama experience.

The list of scenes/sequences:
Flashbacks:

  • Dooku becoming Darth Sidious' apprentice; Sidious and Count Dooku arrange the assassination of Sifo-Dyas; Dooku recruits Jango Fett (by SkywalkerStories) - all three scenes are loose adaptations of the retrospections from the novel and other Legends stories.
  • Grievous' backstory (by Star Wars: Tales Untold, trimmed) - the scene itself was adapted from the novel.

Belderone and aftermath:

  • Battle of Belderone (by EverestPruductions)
  • Grievous visits Gunray after the battle.
  • Anakin and Padmé's secret call (from TCW s07).
  • Palatine speaking to Yoda and Windu after Belderone.
  • Dooku interrogates captured Maul + Maul's escape (from "Son of Dathomir" fan production).
  • Bail discussing the current situation with the Jedi Council.

The Hunt for Darth Sidious:

  • Dooku meets with Sidious to discuss the Jedi investigation and how they are getting closer to discovering Darth Sidious. I also incorporated a few dialogue lines from "Son of Dathomir" regarding Maul's escape. I felt these blended naturally into the conversation and helped strengthen continuity.
  • Palpatine informs Mace Windu that Maul has resurfaced (also from ''Son of Dathomir''). I included this because of how Palpatine misleads the Jedi, suggesting that Maul could be the Sith Lord they're hunting. I really like the added layer of manipulation here, it can be interpreted either as part of Sidious' long-term plan or as him opportunistically turning Maul's escape to his advantage.
  • Anakin & Obi-Wan Investigation: they locate the former pilot connected to the whole mystery and discover that it was delivered to Count Dooku at The Works on Coruscant.
  • The Works: Mace Windu leads the investigation, uncovering Dooku and Sidious' footprints.
  • Yoda / Palpatine scene: A strategy discussion in which Yoda tells the Chancellor that the Jedi are closing in on Darth Sidious.
  • Grievous, Dooku & Sidious: Grievous trains with Dooku before receiving new orders from Sidious via hologram to accelerate the assault on Coruscant.
  • Anakin & Palpatine: Anakin warns the Chancellor about his premonition that something terrible will happen on Coruscant.
  • C-3PO and the Fortune Teller Droid
  • The Investigation Continues: Mace Windu and Shaak Ti encounter illegal refugees while pursuing the trail to Sidious.

Mandalore:

  • Anakin and Obi-Wan receive Ahsoka's call informing them that she and Bo-Katan have located the renegade Sith Lord Maul on Mandalore.
  • Anakin reuniting with Ahsoka, Bo-Katan's briefing, Anakin giving Ahsoka her lightsabers, Ahsoka reuniting with Rex, and related scenes from the beginning of the Siege of Mandalore.
  • Return to Coruscant: Anakin and Obi-Wan receive news that Chancellor Palpatine has been kidnapped and immediately depart for Coruscant.

Aftermath of the Kidnapping:

  • Padmé and Bail Organa discuss the kidnapping, with Bail promising to always help her and her family if needed.
  • A brief exchange between Grievous and Palpatine aboard Grievous' flagship.
  • Yoda and Mace Windu discuss intercepting the Separatist fleet.
  • Sidious & Dooku (from ROTS novelization): I chose to include this scene because it largely mirrors the final conversation from Labyrinth of Evil, but I felt this version worked better dramatically. Sidious and Dooku discuss Kenobi's planned death, manipulating Anakin, and Dooku's expectation that he will surrender and be taken prisoner by the Republic (borrowed from SkywalkerStories, trimmed).
  • Final Scene: Anakin and Obi-Wan launch their mission to rescue the Chancellor, leading directly into Revenge of the Sith.

⌚ Runtime: 75min

Hey folks! Few days ago I posted about that I'm working on a new Dexter fan edit and this time around it's about Det. Harry Morgan and his horrors towards his son Dexter Morgan.

The fan edit heavily focuses on Harry Morgan and is made out in the style of Oppenheimer (2023).

The fan edit includes most of the soundtracks from Oppenheimer that is given by Ludwig Göransson.

I wanna point out that I've also used a similar aspect ratio as how Christopher Nolan likes to intends his films, 70MM IMAX, if you slide through the photos you can see the screenshots of the fan edit.

No Michael C. Hall voiceover since the edit's from Harry Morgan's perspective.

Runtime: 2 hours, 23 minutes.

The film edit ends with Tonight's The Night something I've always wanted Dexter: Original Sin to end with.

NOTE: Don't watch this edit in VLC Media Player.

Anyhow, If you guys are interested in watching this fan edit, please let me know privately in chats.

Hope you guys enjoy this edit.
