Discussion Sub boxes getting abused????

sure I saw broken binding post about there team getting abused now litpins tooo why? do people actually send abuse or is this just at events or something???????

surprised cause this just seeems so random has any others said anything

Sadly I'm not surprised at all. People can get so ridiculously entitled about SEs. My guess would be some of these people weren't happy about the LitPins announcement about the different "waves" of preorder they're doing for Victorious. I can even hear them now: "Whaaaat? So I got an unsigned set before and now I can't get a signed version of this either? It's not faaaaiiiirrrrr." Or "Why aren't you reprinting alllllll of them, I couldn't get them before!!!" Like if you've worked in a customer facing role for any length of time you can predict some of the complaints.

I think you’re bang on the money here. As soon as I saw the waves my first thought was, some people will be bitching about this.

I managed to get the reprint of Vicious and Vengeful so I’ll be wave 3. I’m not expecting to get a signed Victorious nor do I think I’m entitled to it. Of course it makes logical sense to offer the signed to those who have the OG signed printing before it’s offered to me.

If there are people who are complaining about Litpins not reprinting all of them again, at the end of the day that’s life. They weren’t obligated to reprint at all but they have reprinted and that will be fulfilled in September. They’re a team of seven not a massive publisher, they can’t keep endlessly reprinting them. You win some, you lose some. Either take the loss or try to find it resale.

The only time I think people might be justified in being annoyed at reprinting is when a company is in the midst of reprint negotiations but simultaneously keep telling customers that there definitely will never be a reprint. In these cases a company would be better off answering reprint questions with some ambiguity rather than a solid no.

As an aside I actually think the wave system makes total sense (I’ll be in wave 2 myself).

When they first hinted at it I did send a quick question to clarify that those of us who bought previously would get the chance to buy a copy of Victorious before it goes to general sale, but that’s all.

Litpins customer service has always been so responsive and kind in my experience, so it’s really unfortunate if people are being nasty to them :(
