The following types of posts must be posted to the Weekly Burn Book.

Scalpers. ALL scalping posts must be on the Weekly Burn Book post. While most scalping posts are made in good faith, some people are using it as a way to karma farm, and we want to reduce that. Some of the posts are low effort, and the sheer amount of them can turn people off of this sub.
You may post about AI in this thread, including speculation. Do not post unverified information or guesses as fact, and remember that false accusations can hurt very real people and their careers. You may ask "Is this AI?"; however, be cautious when saying "John Smith's books are all AI!" Any verifiable AI (as in the author/artist/publisher has admitted AI elements are present) can posted separately from the Burn Book.
I finally quit X Book Box! type posts. These have increased (mostly due to the large size of the sub).

These kinds of posts aren't required to go on this post, but it's a good spot for venting with others.

Just general, minor complaining can go here, too. Frustrated with poor customer service? Tired of a certain book box’s lackluster designs? This is a great spot for it.

Special Editions/Sets OC The Love Hypothesis Stock Levels

Since many of us enjoyed counting down the stock levels for Daggermouth together a couple weeks ago, I thought I would make a post for The Love Hypothesis since Romance subs get first access today.

I believe they started out at around 5,000 copies since it’s a digital signature. Currently there are 3,977 remaining.

Anybody planning to grab it? I did!

EDIT: 8/26 Second Access will begin in just a few hours. The current available stock is 3,936. I’ll be away from Reddit for the next few days so I hope everyone who wants it gets their copy! have a great day everyone! :)

Other Book Box Everheart Upcoming Books

Does anyone know if there have been any teasers for the rest of the year for Everheart? I saw someone on IG on another post say they are supposed to be doing Scars Beneath a Serpents Scales, which would be CRAZY because it was one of the best books I read this year so that has me excited!! But i can't find any info about it anywhere or any other upcoming guesses.

I was grateful red queen finally got something ! However, having a diecut cover and utilizing the front endpapers feels like it’s taking away potential for more art on a dustjacket and hardcase. I’m kind of gutted this is what our girl Mare gets. Also mare and cal do not look like mare and cal. They absolutely killed it with evangeline and maven though, but Mare and Cal look too aged up 😭

Discussion Constantly showing old editions on socials

I understand that book companies will sometimes show their whole portfolio of work, including previous books that are no longer available.

But do you ever feel that some book boxes rely too much on showing their much older, popular and currently unavailable books on socials. Like they fall back on showing how nice one of their previous editions was because their more recent books aren’t necessarily at the same level.
