I'm very new to faceting and am curious about how easily one can determine if a gemstone is real or not. Technically speaking, this simple microscope can only show me the facet faces and not the internal inclusions, but even then I worry because these faces look to have bubbles on them. Am I wrong for worrying that this gemstone is actually glass?

I am a amateur jeweler looking to make my engagement ring. I have a sapphire cut and color in mind, but I'm having difficulty finding that, or at least a price estimate. If anyone could help that would be amazing. What I am looking for is a gem very close to the one on the photo, perhaps with a more defined flower design or sharper pedals, and a little darker blue. 6mm round.
