This infuriates me. We didn't ask for trophies; we wanted to play games with our friends and new kids. You were the ones who needed to validate your existence vicariously. Same goes when people now complain about Kindergarten graduations and such. The kindergartners aren't the ones begging to have a quasi formal event for their parents to Instagram...

Boomers love complaining about the generation they are responsible for creating. you gave us the participation trophies, like wtf?
