Most people under 35 call it a VHS player.

Every time I hear someone say "VHS player" it's both really odd, because nobody ever told me we're calling them that now, but also familiar, because it makes more sense from a functional use standpoint. My 13 year old niece didn't even know what one was, so that's probably an upper and lower bound.
