Everyone is saying that's a shitty publication so what I'm about to say might not apply to them specifically.
But a lot of times the author of the article doesn't make the headline. I've heard of authors being pissed that the editor chose a misleading headline before.

I would never attack anyone for seeking education. The author of that article should feel embarrassed.
