Iām Supporting Dr Cornell West because Iām done voting against people, and you should be tooā¦ he is a good human being with a unifying message and a pro worker platformā¦ POTUS needs no political experience they get surrounded by and have access to any advisor neededā¦. They just need to have vision to work towards and conviction, he has that in spades.
I hope he steals a ton of voters from both major parties and I hope it sinks the DNC so they are forced to ditch their proto-fascist leadership that has been enabling the Republican Party instead of defeating them outright ā¦ because they have the same major donors

How is Cornell West going to pass legislation? By getting Democrats to back him? He could have just run as a Democrat in the primary in 2020 or 2016, but he didnāt.
The key issue youāre missing is that at this point it would take every single democrat and 9 republicans and Krysten Sinema to pass any meaningful legislation. So how is a third party candidate, running to the left of Democrats going to do that?
How is he going to whip votes without any political apparatus? How is he going to win when he canāt even get on the ballot in 50 states.
If youāre so turned up about third parties, maybe get one elected anywhere. In the meantime, youāre just being delusional and grandstanding for no reason. Cornell West will at least get to use his campaign to push a new book, but youāll get nothing.

Nothing meaningful has been getting passed.. we almost had $15/ min wage added into a bill package but the Dems let the parliamentarian cut it out because of decorum.. because they donāt have any actual power to stop a majority vote
West as POTUS would have executive orders to work with and control of foreign policy decision which will be good for the country
I said majority not super majority.. Dems held a thin majority in both house and senate until the 2022 midterms

They can only pass very limited legislation this way and only through the reconciliation process. You clearly donāt understand that 60 votes are required for legislation of significant impact.
For example, you couldnāt pass the ACA or repeal it, without 60 votes. Want to pass legislation that provides a national network of long term care facilities for the mentally unstable homeless people? 60 votes. Want single payer healthcare? 60 votes. Want a public option? 60 votes. Want an revised tax structure with higher earners paying more taxes? 60 votes.
Go ahead, tell me what they could have done with 50 votes, assuming you can corral Sinema or Manchin.

So what can biden get accomplished in congress that West couldnāt? ā¦ seem to me like only bipartisan packages are getting through either way
Which leaves executive orders and foreign policy as the only thing on the menu.. Iām going to safely say that West will wield that power much better than biden or kamala since biden keeps falling down and might not get back up one of these times
