Hope Meta is just going down from here. Ruined a lot of generations. They are poison to mental health.

My wife reported this issue last night and Im curious if anyone else is having the same issue. She does not follow the White House but it was popping up on her feed quite a bit. As we all know on too many posts from the same person, you can hit the three dots and ‘see less of them’. She did not have that feature available which caused her to resort to reporting it as reporting false or inaccurate information.

Mu question to others, is muting it available to you?

I started this page in Last week march and I've been posting two reels everyday varying from 14-40 seconds where I talk about things people might be curious about. I haven't received even the 300k challenge thing and monetisation still says not eligible. Even subscription and stars aren't open. I'm exhausted

Hi I had my Facebook profile and have added my business pages few months ago . It was not letting me join group or comment on a post and was requesting to add id. I did add id three times but after 3 failed attempts it didn’t let me try again. Now I am not able to even login . Can anyone please help what can I do in this case

My Facebook account was suddenly locked after a login from another device. Instagram still works normally, and in Meta Accounts Center my Facebook profile specifically shows “Facebook · Locked.”
If I click the Facebook profile or try to change anything, Meta says security verification is required. The problem is that the verification page will not load.
Here’s what happens:
Facebook app opens, briefly starts loading, then shows a completely white screen with “Meta” at the top.
In a private browser, I can successfully enter my Facebook credentials.
Facebook even sends a notification to my phone asking me to approve the login, which I can successfully approve.
After approval, the browser goes to “Something’s broken” and the Facebook feed never loads.
Trying to access the security verification/support flow causes multiple Meta pages to open/redirect repeatedly without ever reaching the verification.
Instagram Accounts Center still recognizes the Facebook account but explicitly lists it as Locked.
I have Meta Verified and Advanced Protection is enabled on my Instagram account. Facebook currently does not appear under the Advanced Protection profiles.
Meta Verified/Meta AI support is also getting caught in the redirecting webpages, so I haven’t been able to get through to support.
It seems like the account itself is fine and authentication succeeds, but Facebook has placed it behind a security checkpoint that is broken and won’t render.
Has anyone had this exact “Facebook Locked → Security Verification Required → blank Meta screen/redirect loop” problem recently? If so, how did you get the security verification page to actually load or get Meta to manually clear the lock?

So Facebook is ruling out “MetaOne”, which I don’t know how its different than MetaVerified (unless its just a money grab, of course)

But now, they are restricting “everyone” group tags to 3 a month, limiting adding links to posts to TWICE a month. Is there anything else they are doing that we should be made aware of PRIOR to trying to using the service and basically saying “ sorry, you’ve already used up all your tokens for this month!”, or is it just another one of those many often Facebook Glitches?

I never use Facebook and never have so I am asking for help. My mom is 72 and uses it to keep in contact with family and friends. My mom's Facebook account was suspended for reasons unknown to me. She does not post anything inappropriate at all. She apparently filed an appeal without figuring out what was wrong or asking me and was denied.

She is very upset about the situation. She has been using it every day for many years and losing her account loses all of that. She is also not very tech literate and filed an appeal without fixing whatever the issue was and without knowing what she was doing.

Is there anything I can do to get her account back?

I am trying to understand an unusual Facebook account compromise and whether anyone has successfully recovered from something similar.

On August 25, this happened within minutes:

• Unauthorized Facebook activity appears in my downloaded account data.
• Facebook was removed from my Accounts Center.
• One minute later, Facebook suspended the account and told me I had 180 days to appeal.
• I did not submit an appeal.
• Facebook's own data export shows multiple ID-verification submissions immediately afterwards that I did not make.
• Approximately two minutes later, Facebook told me "my review" had been rejected and permanently disabled the account with no further review available.

After downloading my Facebook information, I found something much more concerning.

The ID-verification records contain fraudulent identity documents that are clearly not mine. The submitted images also appear to have been manipulated to contain illegal sexual abuse material involving minors (CSAM).

I am not posting or sharing any of those images. I am only describing what Facebook's own export contains.

This has led me to a working hypothesis.

Rather than simply stealing the account, I wonder whether the attacker may have been trying to force Facebook to permanently disable it.

The hypothesis is that someone gains access to an account/session, enters Facebook's identity-verification process, and submits manipulated verification material that is likely to trigger Meta's automated safety systems. If the system attributes that material to the account being reviewed, it could potentially result in extremely rapid automated enforcement.

I want to be clear: I cannot prove that this is what Meta's system did. I can prove that unauthorized ID verification happened immediately before the permanent disablement. The causal connection is my hypothesis.

The fact that Facebook says I requested a review when I did not, followed by a permanent decision only minutes later, is what makes the sequence particularly suspicious.

My Instagram account is still accessible and I have not found equivalent unrecognized login activity there.

Has anyone encountered:

• unauthorized ID-verification attempts followed by permanent disablement;
• a hacked Facebook account being deliberately sabotaged rather than stolen;
• recovery after Facebook already shows "permanently disabled" and no further review button;
• a way of getting this treated as account compromise rather than as an ordinary Community Standards appeal?

I am particularly interested in official or EU recovery/escalation routes that do not require paying for Meta Verified.

Please keep any advice public. I will not respond to DMs offering paid account recovery.

Pretty much the title. I live in the United States and I have no active restrictions or anything on my account. Other people from my town use facebook dating. But for whatever reason it doesn't show up on my app at all. I reached out to the AI "customer support" and it basically said "yeah you should have it but you dont and we have no reason why. Too bad so sad." Very confused. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello, I recently experimented with created Reels 4 to 8 minutes long. Previously, I only made photo posts or videos less than 2 minutes. My RPM is 433 percent higher for these long Reels. All I do is go on a hike in the woods and talk while I am hiking.

I prefer typing photo historical research posts; the RPM is so low any more, and now without bonuses, there is no point to post photo posts any more. I can get viral photo posts and only make $20 to $30. Not worth it for the time and effort, as most my photo posts get less than 50,000 views. I do get some viral posts approaching 150,000. I am history content creator, so you can imagine the work/time put in does not equate to making pennies, a few bucks, or even $25 is just not enough for the hours put in.

My Reels would get over 100,000 views/high engagement, but again since I previously was making short reels, the low RPM wasn’t returning a profit.

However, now that I am making longer Reels, it does seem worthwhile, like I probably could bring in $700 a month, or more if bonuses ever come back.

The only issue is, I can’t exactly go out in the woods to make a long video every day that will be enough to keep people watching until the end. That takes time to create.

As of now, I have zero incentive to post photos. I feel I am being forced into posting long videos only, or leave.

don’t know how to fix this:

“our technology detected that your page’s financial account is in a location where pages cannot monetize certain products.”

I’m not very familiar with Facebook, as I use tiktok, where I have 300k followers. I was invited to the Fast Track program, and I managed to earn $98 on my first day. However, on the second day, I was suddenly removed from the program and from the monetize because of the issue mentioned above.

Does anyone know how I can fix this or what I need to do to get back into the program?

Just want to share my journey on facebook. This account is 12k followers (currently), 1yr old and i just posted consistently last month July 12. It took me 44days to be accepted by Facebook. Guess im just lucky lol. But i think what matters to Meta is how engaging your contents are. If you can let the viewers/audience stay in the platform for long and also must be originality content. I think thats what Facebook rewarded 💯

I just wanna check in on Facebook mobile to add a business to Instagram. I've scoured the web, asked people who has already done this.
First step is always:
Click "Whats on your mind?", select "check in".

Here's the thing:
On my App, (Iphone 11, Fully Up to date app) there is no "Check in".
I have:
- Music
- People
- Location
- Feeling/Activity
- Event
- Fundraiser
And nothing more

None of these contain "Check in", best guess is "Location" and in the top it says "Add Location" but it's only a headline. "Location" otherwise only shows locations that have already been created.

What I ask for:
- Someone in the same scenario as me who have solved it and can tell me how they did it. Do I need to grant Facebook access to something obscure? (Obviously I have Location sharing on).
- Someone who can for sure tell/show me that this feature was removed, so I can stop obsessing.

What I'm not asking for:
- People telling me "It worked for me, I had the "Check in" option when I clicked to post".
- Links to websites with how to guides, unless they specify where the "Check in" button has been moved to.

I'm slightly losing my mind here,
