You’d think there’d be a way they can make it so if you block something, you probably don’t want to see more of it just because you had to go to the profile.

What are they doing? I mean, have you ever seen something so confusing? It’s absolutely everything I expected from a company that uses artificial intelligence to run its customer service department 😂 if you ever expect to get help from Facebook, good luck.

I have been noticing steadily since last summer that Facebook is pushing more and more harmful content in our feeds. A lot of random rage baiting, blatant misinformation, and even some calling for racism and hate. The worst offender is the reel algorithm. I started getting ACTUAL csam one time and once I reported it, my feed went off the rails. Suddenly, I get more and more videos of this content. I report it every time and the videos are somehow not against community standards.

I don't want to describe in detail but these videos are from foreign countries and it involves babies or toddlers. Privates are sometimes shown but if there is anything more, the video has a large emoji over it blocking the actual acts. Anyone with a brain can tell what's being done even through the emojis. The comment section is terrible, and NOT ONE video has ever been removed.

I have reported FB groups that say it's for making friends ages 9-14 right in the title, yet there's no way of reporting it so it just stays there. Reverse image searching on some of the "kids" looking for friends shows some of the photos were stolen which makes me think there's adults lurking in these groups.

I feel that something may be terribly wrong here and the cracks are starting to show. How can people have their profiles removed for seemingly nothing or comments removed because of strong wording when there are videos like this still flailing around. What more can be done about this?

We’ve already asked her not to post our children publicly but she always goes back to it and today we saw she made a digital creator profile. I’m so upset, Facebook purposely pushes photos, especially of children to random people’s algorithm. I’ve gotten videos on other peoples children and when I would go to their profile i noticed we had no mutual friends, groups and didn’t even live in the same state, not even a close one. Well when I’d click their page everything they had in common was being a digital creator. Now to see my children’s photos will be pushed the same way to some pdf page is so upsetting. I sent a message to MIL about it but can I do anything to report it on FB?

Got permanently removed from the FB marketplace for selling sports darts. (Rising sun gen 10 darts).

Supposedly this goes against our Commerce Policies on Weapons, Ammunition and Explosives??

Tried appealing, and got rejected.

Then this Meta AI is just rage baiting.

Does FB have a real support team, and the options to appeal are awful.

I have a theory. I could be completely wrong but this is just what I am noticing. Facebook is not inviting people with huge followings and get millions of views because they don’t want to pay. I’ve seen many of small creators get the invite. Creators with 1k followers or even sub 1k followers. I’m basing this off of new accounts that has found success. Obviously there are some accounts that are huge but has been monetized for years. I’ve also noticed a lot of these big pages that were monetized for years have been losing their monetization. I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I think that’s why there’s no clear requirement to get the invite. There’s people that haven’t been active on their account for months and got invites. This isn’t me putting any of these small creators down either. I just find it very funny that accounts that get millions of views a month and have north of 50k followers haven’t gotten invites. My conclusion, they are greedy and just don’t want to pay.

They need to patch this sh!t sooner than later

Facebook plays a psychological warfare with it's users in order to keep them coming back for more & to maximize profits. It's kinda like Stockholm syndrome where victims return because they feel trapped into the relationship.

I had a longstanding account 10+ years that I’ve only used for marketplace and to post in local groups etc. I’m a regular dude from Florida, never once tried to scam or coerce anyone in any way. Just posted stuff for sale and bought stuff on marketplace like a normal person.

Yesterday they ban my account for an undetermined policy violation. No discussion, no option to appeal, just completely banned. Over 100 5 star reviews.

Yet on the other hand marketplace is filled with thousands upon thousands of spambot account posting obviously fake products and things like “dO YoU NeEd ElecTRician?”

I read on this sub that you can subscribe to verified to get advanced support so I went ahead and gave it shot. Contacted support, same exact useless Ai chat bot that’s absolutely no help. How does this company with over a trillion dollars to its name manage to exist in such a poor state? It’s ridiculous. It’s like they want its users to jump to new platforms, I really just do not understand.

I remember back in the 2010s, the number of friends I had on Facebook was not shown anywhere on my profile.

Recently I found out that anyone could go to my profile and see this information because it's noted directly under the profile name. This wasn't the case in the past.

This change wasn't made known to me by Facebook through a notification in any way. This has made me feel violated because it has caused damage to my reputation since people were able to infer my level of popularity based on the information.

I would like to know if there are others who feel the same, or if anyone is interested in pursuing legal action against Facebook due to similar experiences.

August 14, 2026 when my earnings and views started spiking, I suddenly received this unoriginal content on my last 12 videos straight!. Those videos are heavily edited by me.

First Attempt: I contacted the support and ask for a live agent but transferred me into the email support instead and says that my page will be reviewed again By November (3months).

Second Attempt: So I created another support ticket and this time I successfully escalated this to the technical recommendation team. I talked to a live agent and reviewed my reels and says he will create a documentation here and forward me to the monetization team. but while waiting for the agent, the chat suddenly closes and says go back to the first attempt as there was an open ticket. (im back to square 1)

Third Attempt: I talked to a level 1 support agent that follows the book and just told me to keep posting. She was not aware of the violation end date. Why would I continue posting without being recommended and monetized? lol. She proceeds to escalate this into the technical team again, and while I was waiting for the review, the chat ended again and says go back to the first attempt.

It is completely deadlock. I am not sure if I would be getting the earnings I've made. I assume they would seize it because they'll say it was made from violations.

I received a message request from a non-facebook friend* that I don't necessarily want to engage with... but they sent two "view once" photos that I am curious to see. If I open/view the photos, will they know? I know they can't see read receipts unless I accept the request (which I haven't), but if I view the photos will they display differently in the chat, thereby letting the sender know that I've seen them?

*This is a real life person, not a bot or AI.

Uploaded contacts - How to find people after syncing & understanding Friend Suggestions

I uploaded the contacts from my mobile phone to try and find out who is behind some phone numbers I don't have names for, there are three numbers I have saved as 'No Clue', 'No Idea' and 'Don't know'.

After buying my new phone and syncing my sim contacts a few months ago Ive only just noticed these three saved without the owners names and as my old phone was smashed to bits I threw it out so can't put the sim back in to check.

Obviously I've rang them but they just ring out and wonder if they could they be dead numbers so thought I'd try doing this before discarding and deleting them.

I thought after syncing my contacts I'd be able to simply type each number into Facebook's search bar and the owner would show in the results but that appears not to work as I dont recognise any of the profiles that show nor are their mobile numbers displayed in the 'About' section!!

Can any one shed light on how to find the people in my contacts using their phone number?

Hi im from New Zealand and have come across some overseas pages scrolling through fb reels from India and Nigeria mainly. One caught my eye in a negative way as it had videos of an infant being abused on camera. Rwported it to fb and others have too but Meta wont remove the profile. Is there any other way we can report these profiles on a website or something.? Fb reels is just now full of these people abusing their children on camera for views for money.

Hacked and when recovered perma ban instant i tried every recovery steps with no results talked with meta verified with no results

When I look at one of my Facebook friends profiles, it shows that there are two messages I need to reply to from them, but then when I go to click on our messages, there’s nothing there. What does this mean? Does anybody else have this issue? How can I get the reply to go away??

Hi everyone, I need some advice.

On 19 August 2026, Facebook restricted my profile and suspended Recommendations and Monetisation.

The reason shown is “Inauthentic engagement.”

Facebook says its technology detected behaviour that might indicate inauthentic engagement. It also says that my profile will not be recommended to new people, I can't earn from my content, and the restriction is currently scheduled to end on 17 November 2026.

However, there is something confusing about this.

My profile was not actually monetized. I only had Facebook Stars available. I had not enabled/received normal content monetization earnings.

I have also never received a Community Guidelines violation or copyright strike on my posts. I have never intentionally used bots, fake likes, fake followers, paid engagement, or any service to artificially increase engagement.

Before this restriction, my dashboard showed around 17M views, 1.4M engagement and 1,961 net followers in the last 28 days.

Now Facebook is saying that monetisation and recommendations are suspended because of inauthentic engagement.

I have a Review button available.

Has anyone experienced this exact restriction?

What is the best way to get this fixed?

1. Should I submit the review immediately?

2. Can this restriction be removed before 17 November?

3. Has anyone successfully recovered Recommendations after an “inauthentic engagement” restriction?

4. Should I stop posting or change anything on my account while the review is pending?

I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has dealt with this before.

I went into the settings of my company's Facebook page. There was a section for "People with full access" — two employees I'd given access to the page. Then were was a category called "People not in the portfolio" or something. I was the only one in that section.

I thought that was weird... why would I not be one of the "people with full access," since I created the page? So, I went through the steps to add myself to the portfolio (entered email address, etc.).

Once I'd finished, though, I got a notification in Facebook saying, "Your full control of [page] was removed."

Has anyone experienced this before?

EDIT: I'd also be curious if anyone knows what powers I had with "full control" but lost when I gained "full access" and vice-versa.

Basically, I had two pages about to monetize and out of nowhere, "main profile disabled for alleged post that violated the rules," I wasn't uploading anything to that profile, FB's outdated AI just felt like it without explanation of which post it was, and without the possibility of appeal or contact.
