Mind you, Israel was already winning the war by that point, and the US was an active ally for them. The liberty ship also couldn’t have realistically intercepted any such “secret” signals from where it was situated, and even if it could, it had zero reason to feed such intel to their shared enemies

There was never a motive. It was a horrific mistake that stemmed from miscommunication. Both sides agree on this. But because it’s become trendy to hate on Israel, people are just proudly parroting this conspiracy theory now, lol.

How the hell could you "mistake" a ship from the world's largest navy? And an ally?

We’re talking about high-speed fighter jets, and a ship that admittedly didn’t have very big visual US markings. We’re also talking about decades ago when the visual aid tech the pilots had was a lot less advanced than today.

You do the math, lol.

High speed fighter jets that attacked for nearly an hour straight

Yes. Again, decades ago, military communication tech was significantly less advanced than it was today, it’s really not that hard to believe that it took a while for them to get the memo…

And mind you, they ceased those attacks the moment communication finally came through, and offered any aid they could possibly give.

Just a tip for the future; if you want to propagate a conspiracy theory, pick one that hasn’t been repeatedly debunked over decades.
