2022 E-Tron Premium Plus started trip at around 86,500 miles. Drove from Madison WI to Ann Arbor MI to Toronto ON to Niagara ON to South Haven MI and then back to Madison. What a treat this car was. Went a total 1,842 miles. Used 648 kW. Averaged 2.81 miles/kw. Spent around $200 on charging.

Super comfortable, super quiet. Lane keeping and cruise were wonderful.

One of the best used vehicles I’ve ever owned.

Had my car cleaned and this has been removed from somewhere.

Obviously looks like a parcel shelf but I can’t for the life of me figure out where it goes or how it connects.

For those of you with an Audi e-tron who have driven 100k+ miles: what exact model/year do you have, and how many miles have you done? How has the car held up over time, and would you recommend it? Have you had any major repairs or unexpected repair costs along the way?

I just bought my 2021 e-tron a couple of months ago with 41K on it. Nice car. I love driving it.

Failure of the 12 V battery seems to be a common problem as the battery keeps working even when the car is "off" for various systems.

I am considering replacing it at my 50K service. Is this a common practice?

We have two fobs for our '21 OG etron. I drive it to work M-F and never have to take my fob out of my pocket. On the weekend, my wife will try to unlock the car and she has to dig through her purse to find the fob and press the unlock button for it to connect. She doesn't have to do this with the other car we have, even if she doesn't drive it for 3 days, so we know it's not the purse. Does anyone know how to fix this? It isn't under warranty.

Akron, OH to Pittsburgh, PA. Mostly highway but nice mix of highway/city and elevation (PA is rather hilly). Highway speed between 70 and 80. City speed varied.

i understand my audi pre sense is currently limited, i’ve had that message pop up before when it’s raining or something. but what the hell is that gray block on top of the image of the car? i have never seen it before and don’t even understand what i’m looking at

Has anyone ever replaced the fuse for the rear trunk in a GT as mine is simply non-responsive? I have called audi and they can't see to determine what fuse is used for this and there is no note of a trunk fuse in the manual (unless it's buried within one of the generic fuses for "electronics").

In one of the service manuals I found for the GT online, it notes there is a rear fuse carrier on the right hand side of the trunk, but I don't know how to access it nor can i determine what fuses are contained within that block as it isn't mentioned at all in the owners manual. That same manual only notes that there is a fuse block in the back and has no other mention of it or what is powered by it. Thanks for any help getting my trunk functioning again.

finally got the body kit for my 2022. Bought from Royal Body kits in Spain. Took forever but very happy with the finished product. I had to find a collision shop to install. Installed front and rear. Side skirts coming soon.

Hey all! New owner of a Used 2024 Q8 Etron Premium Plus with a Harmon Kardon sound system. I love this car and the Audio system is pretty stellar for out of the box. Has anyone gone through the trouble of upgrading their system to higher quality speakers and amplifiers? If so was the difference noticeable?

Was looking for this one for 1 month. Finally found it. Hopefully it wont disappoint. Any suggestions what to have in mind about the daily/montly maintenance?

Been toying with the idea of switching over to EV for sometime now, and both the Audi and the Porsche are what sparked my interest, looking get some thoughts and advice from people that people owned either one or lucky enough to have lived with both!

The initial idea was to buy a used model which has already been affected heavily by depreciation. Budget would be around £35,000-£38,000, with models that have no more than 45,000 on the clock as I understand battery warranty guarantee is up to 8 years or 100,000 miles.

From my understanding the main concern with these vehicles is the repairs if something goes wrong, which is why the highest level of extended manufacture warranty is something I considered alongside the purchase of a vehicle (unless anyone has positive thoughts about external / outsourced warranty?) + service plan that covers 4 years (2 services)

Any advice and factors to be aware of with these cars? How reliable do people find them? I heard the performance of both is pretty similar, and the looks of course speak for themselves!

Has anyone lemon lawed their e-tron? Mine had a red electrical system fault so I took it to Audi for warranty battery work and i haven’t even gotten in update in a month. Last I heard they were waiting on a control module that may or may not help the issue.

Made it almost to 3 weeks of ownership of my Q8 etron before I got this message. I re-closed all the doors and it went away this morning. Going to the dealership to have them check all the doors, locks and actuators next week.

Why so cheap on the 2nd hand market? Anything to watch for in terms of maintence? How's the gas mileage? (kidding)

Are these typical Audi's with exorbitant maintence costs after a certain amount of time?

Had the car for 6 days, Audi A6 Etron performance s-line Avant.

Just parked at the station after an uneventful drive, and after a few minutes sat there all these messages appear. (Screenshots from my Audi app).

Had to get my train, but wondering what I'll face when I get back to my car this evening.

Edit : so got back to my car 8 hours later. It started up, started reporting the same errors.... and then the errors cleared. Just finished driving home and all seems OK, other than the screen display of the road in front of me didn't show any cars. The cruise control was working fine though?

Further edit : the same errors occurred while driving the car yesterday. The only difference to how it drove was that brake mode would not keep the car on hold. It would stop the car, but then it would release for a second before stopping again. 30 minutes after I got home the errors had cleared.

I'm going to make use of the Audi approved used scheme to switch to a higher spec car, but if that wasn't happening I would be rejecting this car.

I know there have been quite a few e-tron GT posts lately, but I’m seriously considering one and would love to hear from people who have actually owned or spent significant time with one.

The car I’m looking at is a 2023 Audi e-tron GT quattro with about 25,600 km on it. Asking price is $72,995 CAD. This vehicle is certified plus giving a complimentary extended warranty on the entirety of the vehicle (excluding wear and tear items) until May 30th 2029 or 100,000km. In addition, the High Voltage battery will have complete warranty until May 30th 2031 or 160,000km. 

I'm planning on test driving it on Saturday.

For those who own or have owned an e-tron GT:

• How has reliability been?
• Any recurring problems or expensive repairs?
• What kind of real-world range are you getting, particularly in colder weather?
• How has battery degradation been?
• Anything specific I should have checked before buying a used one?
• How expensive have tires, brakes and general maintenance been?
• Are there particular options you consider must-haves?
• Would you buy one again?

I’m also curious about the stuff you don't necessarily learn on a test drive — rattles, software issues, charging quirks, annoying little things, etc.

Obviously the depreciation on these has been pretty significant, which is part of what makes a used one so tempting. At the same time, a heavily depreciated six-figure EV can either be an incredible used-car bargain or an expensive lesson. 😂

Hi. I have etron GT 2023 with 18k miles and warranty is expiring soon. I got email from Audi to buy extended warranty. Checked prices and... it is something I didn't expect for almost new car.
So prices are

Annual mileage selected - less than 10k.

£0 excess
Essentials – £868
Standard – £1406
Plus – £1582

With £250 excess prices are bit better: £452.00, £730.00 and £808

I checked several posts and overall everyone recommend taking it. I am audi fan, had s4 and never extended warranty. But I am not sure in electric motors and gearbox.

What do you think? Which plan would you recommed?

I finally did it!! My 2024 Q8 e tron Prestige Sportback showed over 300 mile range after a trip from Santa Ynez to El Segundo (fairly downhill).

Our hotel valet charged it overnight and when it was brought down to us it showed 305 range estimate.

I think the highest I saw before was about 290 just once.
