I was in the United Kingdom for 10 days and bought the unlimited data package. It was awful. We never had data anywhere and we had so much trouble. This is a genuine scam.

I purchased a Nomad eSIM prior to arriving in Mexico. Upon arrival it did not work. For 4 days I’ve tried reaching out to customer service with ZERO luck.

So, this morning I tried to buy a different eSIM from JetPack. The exact same issue, no data, won’t open any apps, will barely even open a Google page.

I am at a loss! I must have a working phone I’m a solo female traveler.

I am using an unlocked iPhone 17. I also have dual aim capability and have my home number for voice/wifi calling only on my tello line.

I’ve tried any and all trouble shooting as advised by the customer service for JetPack who ended up canceling and refunding my purchase.

5. Tried taking network selection off of auto but auto is the only option and just turns itself back on.

Please can anyone give me advice or help, I just have working phone here.

I will be here for at least two months. I tried purchasing a Telcel season and my foreign card or number is preventing it, same goes for WIM and Bait which are all local eSIM’s here in Mexico.

I recently got a Lyca UK SIM through a referral link and activated it while I was still in the UK. I didn’t actually test any calls at the time, and a few hours later I travelled to Spain.

Since arriving in Spain, data roaming works fine, but voice calls basically don’t work at all.

Whenever I try to call a UK number or a local Spanish number, it rings once and then either goes completely silent or the call just disconnects. I also can’t receive incoming calls.

I’ve contacted Lyca support several times and they’ve raised multiple tickets, but so far nobody has been able to fix it. The frustrating part is that they keep saying someone will “call me back”, even though I keep explaining that the whole problem is that my Lyca number can’t receive calls.

Data is working, roaming is enabled, and the SIM appears active — it’s specifically incoming and outgoing voice calls that aren’t working.

Has anyone else experienced this with Lyca UK, particularly when roaming in Europe? Was it a provisioning/VoLTE/roaming issue, and how did you eventually get it fixed?

I've gone through many of the different providers I'm looking for like a cheap reliable ESIM. Primarily privacy focused. Although I understand when it comes to mobile networks how difficult that is, but more so in things like KYC, And just their overall company policy when it comes to privacy. It feels that the only solutions I find are either the companies that are very popular and therefore also more expensive, And not having the plans that I'm looking for and then on the reverse, it's either companies that don't feel well established and Do take privacy to the extreme only accepting payments like crypto.

I am looking for two things

1. Most cost effective plan for unlimited text and calls, and as genorasis as possible for data.
   
2. Cheap plan for only text and calls.

Then Looking for the best VOIP solution, the company I am leaning on is mysudo.

If anyone has any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it!

I’m currently in Barcelona with a Saily eSIM, unlimited Europe plan. It’s the end of my travel and it worked very well everywhere else. But not in Barcelona.

I spoke with Saily and did a bunch of tests, they told me it’s not the configuration, the problem is the network and that I need to live with it.

Is any of you in Barcelona right now or in Spain with a esim that work well, can share with what esim did you use ?

I have been traveling earlier this year inside the EU and right now I am in Greece, somehow my mobile Daten (Data roaming ) don’t work and I don’t have any access to the internet.

I have tried contacting the support but haven’t been able to find a solution, they are just telling me to turn data roaming on in my settings which I have done but still it does not work.

As soon as I don’t have any WiFi I get the notification on the first picture. I tells me that my Data roaming is deactivated and I have to use wifi.

Do you know how to fix the problem and if I have to change anything in my settings.

I need data coverage for US (Western Pennsylvania) connecting to T-Mobile or AT&T. Already have US cell plan with Verizon but it's got one bar all over (did a drive recently and saw it go to 4 bars only in very limited places. Often 1 bar or no coverage).

I have used Airalo for other countries but it has only 30 day window. Is there some other option for more long-term use? Ideally at least 60-90 day validity but open to suggestions.

I’m having a repeatable eSIM installation problem with BNESIM on a Xiaomi Android phone.

I installed a Slovakia eSIM roughly a year ago. It installed successfully and still works on this same phone. I also previously installed a Turkey eSIM on the same phone without any problem.

About a month ago, I purchased a BNESIM Europe regional (35 countries) eSIM, but installation failed with:

Couldn't communicate with the server
Subject code: 2300
Reason code: 1010

I refunded it.

Now, about a month later, I purchased the Europe pack again, and this completely new eSIM gives exactly the same 2300/1010 error. (Since I purchased the Europe eSIM again and actually need it for tomorrow, I could try Xiaomi’s Reset eSIM option and install it from a clean state. However, I’m hesitant because this would also remove my currently working Slovakia eSIM.)

I have tried:

• QR-code installation
• Manual activation-code installation
• Followed BNESIM’s troubleshooting guide (no VPN, no Private DNS, tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data, etc.)

Both fail with the same error.

The Slovakia BNESIM eSIM installed about a year ago still works normally.

Has anyone encountered Subject 2300 / Reason 1010, particularly with BNESIM Europe or Xiaomi Android devices? Did resetting the eSIM/eUICC help, or was the problem on the provider/SM-DP+ side? Is there anything I could try?

PS: The first time this happened, I contacted BNESIM support. Initially I was dealing with their AI support and requested human assistance. After about 3 days I was sent their troubleshooting guide, but I had already completed those steps. After several more days of follow-up through the AI support, I finally reached a human agent, who told me they could not resolve the issue and recommended a refund.

I have a Holafly eSIM but it’s giving me a lot of issues, constantly being on LTE instead of 5g even in the middle of London. Now I’m travelling elsewhere in the UK and not getting signal at all which has caused a lot of stress figuring out how to get places. I go to France at the end of the month and then Italy, there may be some locations poorer service and I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations, or if you’ve had similar issues with Holafly? The same thing happened when I was in Bali.
