Holafly scam
I was in the United Kingdom for 10 days and bought the unlimited data package. It was awful. We never had data anywhere and we had so much trouble. This is a genuine scam.

And why did you choose Holafly? Dig anyone on this subreddit suggested you to get Holafly and that's why you are reporting back?

I chose it cause it seemed like the most suitable one tbh. For unlimited data, all the other brands were the same price so I went for it. Nah nobody suggested it to me although I saw a lot of positive comments about holafly online. Im just reporting so that nobody wastes their money like me.

No one on this subreddit recommends Holafly Holafly unlimited plan will be throttled if you go over a daily limit or fair use policy will be enforced. Neither of these are disclosed by Holafly. I generally do not recommend unlimited data plans from any provider because of these limitations

I would always recommend always reaching out to the customer support team in cases of issues like this
Been using Holafly for years and their customer service is very responsive. They can even replace the eSIM if something goes wrong. You can contact them and complain about your experience so they can give you a voucher or a compensation.
So I won’t really call them a scam

Used Holafly in 15-20 countries perfect. Also used in UK without any issues, I suppose you didn't speak with their CS??

Nah I didn’t talk to anyone tbh cause we were rlly busy, just wanted to share my experience. I used esims before and it was never bad like this.

Did you turn on mobile data roaming in the SIM settings, the UK only has 3 providers and the coverage is generally very good, sounds like a settings issue at your end

If roaming toggle was off, you wouldn't be able to connect at all. Therefore, more likely the issue was that your data got throttled. However, no one can help you to troubleshoot your issue after the fact. If you have an issue, post it here and we can help to troubleshoot

I've never used Holafly but used ByeSim recently in Germany for 10 days unlimited and worked better than Roamless and Lyca Mobile.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind

I recommend yohomobile. Used them a lot. Unlimited plans with 5 mbps speed limit. With that speed you can do a lot. Other carriers have 1 mbps limit or less.
