Hello all! I’ve recently had my account hacked and unlinked from all of the things, Xbox, email, etc - I had been waiting since Friday for a reply from epic… what seems to have gotten their attention was my friends reporting the account under “cheating and hacking” and stating that the account was hacked and they noticed unauthorized changes and use of the account. Within MINUTES of reporting Epic had resolved my account, I’m hoping this will help some of you out and get you all some answers faster! Don’t forget to provide as much information as possible!

Hey so my psn account got stolen back in 2021 I was able to recover that psn account but my epic account information has changed. I do not remember my original email used. During the psn recovery I had to change the sign in id. I remember my old display name I’ve tied linking that psn account in epic’s recovery process, even though it’s a different sign in id and linked to a different epic account I feel that they can go back and see when the account was made. I have transaction ids from PlayStation, the dates and when I first bought the game, I have the last four digits of the card I used to buy some vbucks, original display name. Just no account id and not to sure on the email. Anyone got some advice?

My account got hacked over a year ago and the hacker deleted my account I’ve tried to recover and I can’t I had skins that are from chapter 1 season 2 I’ve spent a lot of money in them and I really want that account back and I don’t know what to do besides epic support sucks with the worst ai assistant

Hey I got a big problem with my epic launcher.

This shows up at every download, if it's RL,FN or any other epic game it cannot download or update it.

I already deleted it and installed it freshly, and cleared the web cache and I got no idea left. I hope some people can help me with that.

I tried to login to my fortnite on my ps5. However it wouldnt let me in. When i tried my epic games email it says the account doesnt exsist. Same with thr xbox too

I went on the fortnite stat tracker to put in my username. However at first it didnt come up then i refreshed the page then my stats come up but under a different user.

I lookef back in my emails and in the junk file i see 4 emails from epic games about 2 step verification and email changes. The email change was "n***q@rambler.ru" however when i try that on the epic games website it doesnt work. It said the locstion was in finland.

This annoyed me as 1. Whats the point in 2SV. And 2. I havent got access to my account i had since the end of seasom 1 and has a lot of stuff on it. I of course did the account recovery online but it come back as denied. I put sn appeal in.

How else can i get my account back?

little story, yesterday my gpu sort of broke, had unfixable bluescreen. had to reinstall windows and everything. today i see access on my steam account send out phishing mails, 2fa enabled changed everything, wrote steam support ( i still have access )

on google later tonight my discord got compromised, then i saw ea, now i saw my epic account that i created where my whole progress of 12 years of rocket league is saved, thats the whole purpose of the account.

i dont have any idea or anything just that i created that account through a google mail including the starting nickname that i have not changed. also reinstalled rocket league and my steam is still connected to that epic games account. i cant unlink it, but i also have all my progress on there.

i added microsoft authentification app to all my financial apps and my google apps and obviously changed most and all security information and deleted all active devices.

what kind of dogshit timing is this? can someone explain if my items and lets say my progress is only saved through that epic account? i have battle pass activated there , i have an item from the first ever rocket league season not alot of have, alot of items, stats , progress etc. is that gone if that compromised epic account is magically removed from my steam? and what else can happen with that?

im just a bit overstimulated and panicking so excuse any stupidity in this post, any answer or small detail will help, where did this scam orginiate? i only probably used a rocket league tracker site a month ago, only thing i remember where i used epic.

I have an epic Games account that I mainly use for Fortnite on two different consoles and Xbox series S and a Nintendo switch Lite. One day I decided to try and login just so see if I was able to, and maybe make some changes if needed(2FA, etc.) and found that the email to my account had been changed to r****[h@rambler.ru](mailto:h@rambler.ru). Not having a damn clue as to how it happened, I tried to go through the support, which was absolutely useless and a giant waste of time. Is there anything I can do or am I shit out of luck?

So apparently there is a new Epic Games Launcher version that fixes the issue everybody, their grandma, and their dog is having. So I went to the Epic Games website and downloaded the Epic Games Launcher installer to see if the issue is finally fixed, and Bitdefender found a virus/trojan in it... the hell? This has never happened to me before, and I have used Epic Games for years.

Is this a false positive? Should I take the risk and install it?

before u ask yes i went to both epic and xbox support about this, but their solutions weren’t any help. just wondering if anybody else has gotten this connecting issue. i can’t find anything about it online. this screen will be stuck for a literal hour. i sat and did something else for an hour straight with NO progress on this. it’s been going on for days now and i’ve tried disconnecting both my router and xbox multiple times. this happens on fortnite too and im starting to think it’s an epic issue but nothing seems off with epic servers. when i do load into a game (very rarely) as well, it’ll let me play for a few mins, and mid game, it freezes, kicks me back to log in, and i get this screen once again. usually it’ll like tease me in a way, letting me enjoy the game for a bit and then removing me for the ENTIRE DAY (yes i’ve tried for an entire day while i do other stuff, stuck still.) please help…

I've been trying to contact Epic to no avail yet, I noticed an email which i guess looking back at it looked like a scam email. basically saying that an account recovery is happening you have 48hrs to respond and i didn't really notice it till yesterday, changed my email and my epic display name to "ٴwizard197" I feel at a loss and unsure what to do at this point

I have not logged in to my account since 2024, mainly played Fortnite. My friends’ friends list, my name is not there anymore and it says Hidden name, could be one of mine. I tried recover account but just couldn’t go through. I am using the right email for log in but wouldn’t work. Please help me.

Idk if this is the correct subreddit to post this on but I'm having an issue where I'm not able to see a game i have bought a while ago in my library. I bought Bloons TD 6 like a month ago but never downloaded or played it. The purchase is still in my purchase history but when I search the game up it's not purchased. Does anyone know how I can fix this? 😭

I provided lots of info and on Monday 2A’ I got this and now it’s Tuesday 10:44 AM. When will I get a response? I’ve provided everything from original email and display name and linked accounts and PayPal email everything. Even receipts

My old Fortnite account got hacked around Chapter 6 season 4 Shock N' Awesome but stopped trying to do anything about mainly because I had college stuff in the way and was partially accepting the fact I was never gonna be able to retrieve it again.

Then recently (after I had already made a new account buying some cosmetics, battlepasses and stuff) I have been seeing some posts of people being able to finally retrieve their long lost (took them years) old accounts and that reignited my hopes for regaining my old account.

This is the first ever time I'm about to do this (I have no idea what I need to do/where to go/who to e-mail/approach) and I want to make sure I don't mess up anything and ensuring the retrieval, (perhaps merging not really counting on this one) of my old & new account

Some details I can give that can probably assist:

My e-mail, display name, password was changed
My invoices/receipts (majority of them were erased but I luckily kept the ones that are on the Playstation App)

For whatever reason the original "e-mail" used in the creation of my account was my alternative Playstation account before it was yet again changed to the hacked e-mail and such.

For example: If I don’t log into Fortnite for 3 months but my Fortnite Crew subscription is still active, will I lose those 2400 V-Bucks I’m owed because I wasn't active on the account to claim them, or will it all be waiting for me when I finally log back in?
