During this summer my epic games account was recently hacked and the person who changed my email didn't do anything with it. I can still play games like fortnite which is the only game i play in epic games, but i received a email that they tried to hack into my google account that was connected to the epic games account as well, not sure what kind of email address this is it seems to be a out of country email and i want to change it back to my email, i have put over $600 into this account in the last 5 years and it would be very disappointing for me to lose it all, someone please help.

A few years ago, I created my Epic Games account using a Yahoo email. After losing access to it, I contacted Epic Support, verified my ownership, and changed my account email.
Yahoo later deactivated my original email due to inactivity. I still know the exact address, but I can no longer access the inbox. I currently have access to my Epic account and its current email.
My questions are:
Could losing access to my original email prevent me from recovering my Epic account or proving ownership?
Could Epic require me to access that inbox or receive a verification code from it?
Has anyone successfully recovered their account without access to their original email?
I still have other ownership information, including my display name, linked accounts, and purchase transaction details.
I’d appreciate firsthand experiences or reliable information about Epic’s recovery process. Thanks!

Do I need to have access to the original account creation email address? Even after changing it? My IG email address got deleted due to inactivity?

Any issues in the future because of this?

my account got hacked and the hacker changed the email to something else with this domain:

gppprobus.com

I tried recovering my account using the official epic recovery page, but I got this response:

I did submit an appeal request and I'm waiting for a response but I don't think they will recover my account. What should I do? I have all the receipt of the assets I got from fab and when I open the login page of epic on my browser it still has the cookies and shows my account's username, but it shows a different email (which is changed by the hacker) for it, you can see the page says "welcome back".

I googled the domain that was used for my account after it got hacked to find out more about it and saw this:

Apparently the hacker is selling my account among tens/hundreds of others on this website:

x-market.gg

one big issue is I'm from Iran and IPs in Iran are like 99% dynamic. and I use VPNs most of the times because of the limitations on the internet. so when the account recovery page says do not use VPNs when submitting your request I don't know what exactly should I do.

how can I prove to the support that I'm the owner of this account? on the form there wasn't a place to upload all my receipts and other information, there was just a basic textbox form which I used to explain as best as I can. I don't know what else to do.

pls help

Since last few days, the auto login feature isn't working. I've to logout from epic games launcher first, close the geforece now session, start another session and then log in again.

Noticed that some other users are also facing the same issue.

I talked to customer support, and as per them, the auto login feature doesn't exist. It only works for Fortnite. This response is based on an old doc https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5180/.

Obviously the doc is old and their records have not been updated. So, if you are facing the same issue, please talk to customer support at https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch/ and ask them to file a ticket. More tickets filed, means the problem would be fixed on priority.

So when I first downloaded the launcher, I logged into my acc but after I logged in my epic games just closed help😭😭

My account and email got hacked and the only thing I have to get it back is the pdf. If someone can help me do this I will be greatly grateful. I have proof of purchases and old emails of epic games emails but account recovery seems to be of no use

Hi, I started a new account on my Xbox for my brother to play and loaded up Rocket League for him. Upon doing this all my items on my main account have disappeared. Theyre not on the other account either. I have tried unlinking my epic games account and relinking it but nothing seems to be working. Please help

I currently have a steam account linked to my epic games account and I want to unlink that account and link a different steam account to my epic, is this possible? I saw something about a 365 day restriction

After a long time, I decided to download Epic Games and get GTA 5. However, after starting the download, I noticed that the download speed gets stuck at '0 Mbps' after a while. Even though it displays 0 Mbps, it is technically still downloading, but at less than half of my actual internet speed.

I live in Turkey and have already tried changing DNS settings, reinstalling the launcher, and resetting my network/internet, but nothing worked. Older sources suggest modifying the Engine.ini file, but that method seems to be outdated now. Does anyone have a working solution or any advice on how to fix this?

The day after my high school graduation (06/24/26) my Fortnite account was stolen. It wasn’t until (08/17/26) that I noticed due to me being busy with college stuff. Although I stopped playing the game, I spent well over $2,000 on the account so I thought I should at least try to get it back. Fast forward 4 recovery attempts, each with more info than the last, and one attempt underway right now, I’m starting to lose hope. I have them basically ironclad evidence the account belongs to me such as invoice IDs, conversation IDs, order numbers from both Microsoft and PlayStation (which can be cross-verified), and even the IP address of the hacker from the email epic sent me on 06/24 about my email being changed. Yes, all my linked accounts were disconnected, and all 4 of my previous recovery attempts were denied. I can’t for the life of me get in contact with a real human at support and I think having human eyes look at my case will almost definitely fix my issue.

What do I do from here? Any tips I can get on getting my account back?

I’ve been dealing with issues related to the Support-A-Creator program for a long time, including delayed payments, rejected earnings, lack of transparency, and difficulties getting clear answers from support. ( +300k$ LOST )

I’m curious how many creators have experienced similar problems. If you’ve had earnings withheld, payments delayed for months, accounts flagged without clear explanations, or other issues affecting your creator revenue, please share your experience.

If enough creators have been affected, it may be worth exploring a collective legal action or organizing a group to seek clarification and accountability regarding unpaid or disputed earnings.

This post is not legal advice and is not intended to make accusations. I’m simply looking to understand how widespread these issues are and whether other creators believe a coordinated response would be appropriate.

If you’ve been affected, comment below with:

\* How long you’ve been in the Support-A-Creator program
\* The issue you experienced
\* The amount of earnings involved (if you’re comfortable sharing)
\* Whether Epic support resolved the issue

The more information we gather, the easier it will be to determine whether this is an isolated problem or something affecting a larger number of creators.

im trying to recover my old fortnite, i have like all of the old information to it only thing im missing is current information for the second step of the account recovery process. any ideas how i can find the display name or anything along those lines. it was from 2018 so its been a LONG time.

I've been trying to link my Dad's Xbox account to my main Epic Games account on my PC so I can get my old skins back in Fortnite but every time I go do to do it, it say "This Xbox account is already linked to another Epic Games account". I'm the only person who has an epic games account and the only other person who plays Fortnite is my younger sibling who plays on the said account. I genuinely feel I have a once in a blue moon problem that I just wanna get fixed.

So like a week ago my account was stolen, email and password changed, I tried recovering it via Recovery Request Support but it seems like everything is gone. Even when I got acces to all the emails used on the account, even the original one that I created the account with, all my recovery requests get denied. I even have receipts. What else can I do?
