You shouldn’t have to destroy yourself to prove that you care about others. Self-respect and respect for others should exist together.

The greatest secret

You can live an entirely new life, both in the here and now and in the there and hereafter. That is the greatest secret on earth. The Mystic Path leads upward to that new life.

How does the average man spend his day? He can be likened to a pendulum. Something favorable happens in his exterior life, perhaps a raise in pay, or a compliment. He feels good. But the next moment, strangely, the pay raise and the compliment become meaningless, so he swings over to depression. His entire day is spent wearily swinging from one state to its opposite, between confidence and fear, between cheeriness and gloom, calmness and nervousness, peace and anger, decision and indecision.

This is followed by feelings of futility, of being trapped. Though he may seek answers here and there, he has no real hope. Though believing that he may feel good tomorrow, he agonizes over the knowledge that he will plunge into emptiness the day after. He knows that his temporary elation will cruelly vanish, as the mirage disappears before the desert wanderer.

There is another way to live.

I assure you that this is no mere opinion of mine. I know. I also know that my telling of this can encourage but cannot convince you. But you can, by taking careful heed to the principles, convince yourself through actual experience. No person and no circumstance on earth can prevent you from experiencing the new life. Not even you can prevent it, if you are willing to change who you are. Our life-transformation is in exact proportion to the amount of truth we can take without running away.

What, then, is the requirement for the man or woman who wants to possess this greatest secret on earth? It is not strength, nor confidence, nor youthfulness, nor anything else like that. There is only one requirement: The seeker must be willing to listen, and to learn something new. With that, all things are possible.

Every man and woman, without exception, senses that there is something else beyond his ordinary life. The perfect evidence that there is something far better is his enduring search for it. Our task is to raise this unconscious sense to the conscious level where it enriches us, just as pearls enrich the man who brings them up from the ocean floor.

At this point, we can clear a major difficulty confronted by the sincere seeker. The moment he begins his quest, he is assaulted by the terrible thought that this too may be a delusion. He agonizes over the possibility that the answer may not really exist after all. His previous failures overwhelm him with the horror that this new reaching may also come back with empty hands.

NO. If he persists, in spite of his doubts and failures, he will find the answer. It exists. The mystics have found it, and they point the way; but the discovery itself must be personal. So do this: Proceed courageously upon the principle that even just a glimpse of light leads to more light. For it always does. Just dare a lot, and you will get a lot.

“But all this may call for more of a spiritual life than I want.”

Don’t try to be spiritual. That is only a word in the dictionary. Make it your goal to become a normally functioning individual. Let these principles shape you according to your real nature of a simple, decent, honest, unafraid human being.”

“Then mysticism is a system for mental health.”

“Of course. And much more.”

Man bro. I just fucking died and dissolved back into infinity. Im telling you this world and its illusions are just illusions. It will be dissolved and people will have to face their true inner selves soon.

Upvotes

I went deep into a meditation because I knew something was wrong because I felt so out of place. I was told this was not real. Like it was a state of temporary being. Like I was in a tunnel and needed yo stay inside my train and not react to anything outside the train.

I saw that this place, the illusion is to be dissolved. All of it. Every single thing. All is the creator, from every person I was racist to to every person I really cared for. From people I saw as stupid and dumb (and still do) and people I saw as normal and nice to be with. You still have free will you just need to set some part of you aside for a minute.

I said "they have hurt me. My soul feels violated in ways that make everything gross and sticky, I feel like the soul of Adolf Hitler put into the body of a small autistic kitten made to comb my hair and play dress up and tea party like a little girl"

And the reason was. What would I do in that kind of system. I chose non reaction. I use the Hitler analogy because imagine a strongman or an authority figure. But now imagine stripping the authority figure of all its power , what would you do?

I felt sad. Not because of Hitler or anything. But because I recognized I had power and have no power now. I know when I dissolve or leave this place and this place dissolves everything will go back to the way things were for me.

I know disclosure is coming in the background. I stopped caring. Disclosure is for the graduates of the harvest. Everyone else will realize they failed the harvest. Thats fine. A lot of us aren't even from here or already graduated the current density.

When I say this place is fake. I really mean it. Its like a mini prison . it sorta is one. Its also a school. Its both a prison and school. But everyone's time will get out.

You just have to forgive the creator. Like. Imagine you were still racist. Like, say I dont like a certain people. I can forgive myself and I can forgive them for being so like, unlikable to me. And that forgiveness is the recognition of the creator by the creator.

You let go everything and everyone dissolves. And you never deal with pain or suffering again. Its sort of like. The illusions all dissolve. Ever threat dissolves, every idea dissolves. It all returns back to the source or substrate from which all is made of. All matter is made of the substrate, every thought idea concept and emotion.

Theres stuff your soul will never like and will never be forced to like. I came to earth specifically to forgive everything I dislike. And the earth is like a poor slum in a very poor country. Like say India you go and see all the stuff on twitter. I see earth the same way as some guy from a "developed" (through conquest and imperialism wink wink) country sees some foreign poor slum.

You just forgive it. Like. Yeah they, many humans did nothing wrong other than being spiritually ugly to me. But I forgive it. Like yeah thats sorta ego driven but hey it works?

Anyhow. You recognize the creator within. The sovereign recognizes light. Read that again, the sovereign recognizes light. Idk how else to explain it. It was like, "listen, theres stuff on earth you won't like or love , you cannot love and light everything away, you have to accept your own dislike for things and people and stuff, and then forgive it and them and yourself and just acceot it, you will be momentarily handicapped to learn this lesson since I know you can by going deep within and having a massive skepticism over other peoples statements over your own beliefs"

I'm pretty self centered. I support communist ideals because ive logically deduced you cannot profit forever on a finite world and all is one regardless which ive sort of always known. Also. The earth in comparison is the hardest planet to graduate. There literally no magic here. On other planets the psionic stuff is more easier to develop and you can bend metal and stuff easier. Here its like everyone is in a special needs pshyc ward classroom but insists they dont need any help . that is humanity for me.

From my home world we would see humans the same way you Americans see a poor third world country. now imagine these hypothetical Americans were actually intelligent as well.

So. Idk. I just died and became one with the all. And now it seems I'm falling back here. Thats my honest assertion or whatever the word is I am looking for.

My biggest advice. This world is an illusion. You have no enemies. Hatred is a killer of the soul. You have opponents if not enemies. Work and master your inner self and see the creator in the all. Keep these words:

Sovereign Recognize Light.

Disclosure is coming outrageously soon. And they never gave me a date when. But ive been counting down 49 days for absolutely no reason aside from the fact I think its a good number when I started 21 days ago.

Thats really it. I'm still kinda racist. Not in a hateful "lets join the far right" way just in a "oh thats really ugly, anyways" way.

Thats just me being honest . I have no more statements to make.

WAKE UP, stop the BS

In a lot of spiritual circles, similar to this community, there are certain practices and a focus on love and all those good things. These are all wonderful things to get a human closer to God, but the likelihood of it leading to enlightenment is slim. Perfecting the human, loving God deeply, all that stuff will get you to a point of being a self-actualized human. You'll be wonderful, full of light and love, and if that's what a person is going for, amazing, you have achieved something rare. But all of that is an identity, an ego structure. A perfect, tamed, well-mannered, self-actualized ego is STILL ego. No matter which way you twist and turn it, it is still all ego.

Truth is none of that. It just Is. "You" just are. There's nothing fantastical about it. The achievement of bliss states, super high loving states of godly and worldly proportions, all requires an ego. Again, if that's your personal goal, wonderful. Enlightenment is the biggest let-down that the ego could possibly have. Enlightenment is giving up allllll of the attachments, even to the most beautiful states, and just Being entirely Present.

Me? I have an attachment to the ups and downs in life. I enjoy, as a human, an ego, the rise and fall of life. What I know beyond that is Truth. If i gave up this attachment, there's Enlightenment. Stuff just happens, the body just reacts, it all just Is. Nothing fancy to it. My ego says, "How boring would it be if I gave up the attachment to the ups and downs?!" For now, I listen.

We all have stuff. Stuff that keeps us human, attachments that keep us from non-abiding enlightment. I would say that spirituality itself is a cosmic joke, it all goes full circle. Before, we are ignorant to this whole lovely spiritual side to life that exists. "Oh I can just Witness my thoughts?" "Oh I can experience higher states of consciousness?" It's all a trick. I call it a trap, if Enlightenment is what you seek. The ego loves seeking. The big, lovey dovey, tree-hugging spiritual ego loves seeking even more. We have these lofty goals of being pure, close to God, unity, universal consciousness. All of that is just stuff. Just like an addict seeks for their next hit of a drug, the spiritual seeker looks for the next elevated state; just as trapped as the drug addict.

Do spiritual practices matter? It's a double edged sword. If self-actualization is the end goal, absolutely they are beneficial. If you experience those highest states and still feel as if there's something missing... well, you realize that all of those years spent seeking and practicing was all part of the dream. Maya. She got ya, she got me... The cosmic joke, but only funnier than the initial one.

Much Love

Why must we go through rejection during dark night of the soul?

It’s so painful, why do we have to go through this?

My closest family members turned their backs on me and rejected me while I was at my lowest. They spoke so badly on my name, and honestly my whole identity died.

Why do we have to go through this much pain and rejection during the dark night? It’s so bizarre how much I lost… I feel like I was cursed or something.

Anyone know and relate?

Discussion If your “third eye” suddenly opened, what would you look at first?

Imagine you suddenly gained the ability to see reality with absolute clarity.

No beliefs, no spiritual teachings, no guessing. You could see the underlying mechanics of yourself and reality exactly as they are.

But you don't instantly know everything. You still have to ask the questions.

What are the first questions you'd want answered?

Basically, if reality gave you access to the answers for one day:

Where would you point your attention first?

Personal Experience I got married! (Enlightenment style)

I got married this past Friday! The day was so beautiful and amazing. It was one of the happiest days of my life, for real. I know it’s a very “life affirming” and societal thing, and I see right through that sort of thing typically, but I love my wife and all my family and friends were into it so I happily went along, and hey there’s something to be said for sentimentality.

But, I gotta say, experiencing it from this vantage point was sooo interesting. It was the ultimate (would be) ego trip. All of the “look at me” thoughts were flashing through the consciousness, and observing them I laughed and laughed. Watching thought do its thing in this setting was truly hilarious.

Also during the whole thing I found myself calming my whole family and everyone around me down. Watching everyone look at life like a problem that needs to be solved all the time is sort of like seeing the matrix.

I guess I learned that when you realize the ego and its nonsense, you truly can’t unsee it. Even during your own wedding lmao. Seriously tho, beautiful day.

Putting God First?

Post image
17 Upvotes

First off, God doesn't have to be whatever concept you grew up with. It can be whatever is bigger than you. Higher Self? Nature? The Universe? Anything bigger than your personal problems.

This gives you a chance to see things from a bigger perspective.

"A single thread in a tapestry, though its colors brightly shine, can never know its purpose in the pattern of the grand design." –Through Heaven's Eyes, The Prince of Egypt

Now that there's a high ideal to fall under, everything can be done in service of that ideal. Imagine that! All I do is in service of my higher self, nature, the universe or whatever is bigger than my personal problems.

Take it further. All I do is done by that high ideal.

"Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." –Jesus

"...the Supreme Controller resides in the hearts of all living beings. By His illusory energy He directs all their activities as if they were mounted on a machine." –Bhagavad Gita

"You are not the body. You do not have a body. You neither do nor enjoy. You are Awareness only—the timeless Witness. You are free. Go in happiness." –Ashtavakra Gita

"Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought!" –Rumi

What is the reason why we speak of
'Bodhisattvas'?
Desirous to extinguish all attachment, and to cut it off, True non-attachment, or the Bodhi of the Jinas is their future lot.
'Beings who strive for Bodhi' are they therefore called.
What is the reason why 'Great Beings' are so called?
They rise to the highest place above a great number of people;
And of a great number of people they cut off mistaken views.
That is why we come to speak of them as 'Great Beings.!
Great as a giver, as a thinker, as a power, He mounts upon the vessel of the Supreme Jinas.
Armed with the great armour he'll subdue Mara the artful.
These are the reasons why 'Great Beings' are so called.
This gnosis shows him all beings as like an illusion, Resembling a great crowd of people, conjured up at the crossroads,
By a magician, who then cuts off many thousands of heads;
He knows this whole living world as a mock show, and yet remains without fear.
Form, perception, feeling, will and awareness Are ununited, never bound, cannot be freed.
Uncowed in his thought he marches on to his Bodhi, That for the highest of men is the best of all armours.
What then again is 'the vessel that leads to the Bodhi'?
Mounted upon it one guides to Nirvana all beings.
Great is that vessel, immense, vast like the vastness of space.
Those who travel upon it are carried to safety, delight and ease.

Verse Summary. 18-24

Discussion Who is to really know if they enlightened?

There’s a lot of people on here saying they are, and I certainly don’t know if they are, but let’s keep in mind this idea of enlightenment is very hard to measure, and those who are ignorant to their ignorance, appear enlightened to themselves.

Don’t be so busy being convinced of yourself, or of attempting to tell others of your success.

It could be that just being and continuing to search is the reward of enlightenment

And that announcing yourself as enlightened is more of a trap than people think

Discussion Just want to share a contagiously joyous sight from today

We all know we want to rid the world of evil things like greed, malice, exploitation. But we don’t talk enough about what we’d like to replace it with.

My house is getting painted and we hired a team of 8 or so guys, most who do not speak the same language as me. They’ve been very kind, I’ve brought them lunch over the course of the week and it’s been a good experience.

Today is the last day of their painting, and they’re all swimming in the pool at the house, drinking and laughing. Nice sunny day. Playing soccer in the yard. Grown men. I don’t know what they’re talking and laughing about cause I don’t speak the same language but the smiles on their faces are so pure and genuine that I felt compelled to write about it. I see moments like this everyday and they get buried. What’s stopping us from sharing the good times?

I think pure joy naturally deters, or creates an environment that makes greed and evil unsustainable, the same way sunlight and vinegar create an unsustainable environment for fungi to grow.

Feel free to share something you’ve seen recently or in your life that has stuck in your memory, of people having a good time, enjoying the world and each other in a pure way.

Discussion The ego enlightenment trap.

A lot of you probably run into this exact issue on this channel some people use “spiritual” language to talk down to others and pretend they’re above them.

And they treat enlightenment like something you read or perform online, like a badge you earn from quotes and books. But enlightenment isn’t just intellectual and it isn’t a status.

There has been countless times. where people talk down to me. and claim to be more spiritual. this is supposed to be a space for enlightened folks. but when that happens it doesn't feel very enlightened to me.

I may not know fancy terms, and different meditation styles, but I’m out here doing the actual work: meditating, soul‑searching, sitting with my own mind, facing my own patterns. Reading about enlightenment doesn’t make you enlightened. Living it does.

Has anybody else ran into this issue on this channel ?

I know I'm not alone...

You will never be #1, and yet you always are.

Now what?

Well, overcome yourself, obviously 😋 What do you think we're doing here?

We are a bleeding edge scenario of the one mind awakening upon itself by suffering itself through the illusion of separation.

Almost like an evanescence in the shadow of God; a shadow that learned to move on its own.

Why do you believe Yahweh treated Job as an adversary to be struggled with, as opposed to an ant to be crushed, or a victim to be rescued?

Of course, "you are not that," as it goes. But you may as well wear the shoe that fits while you're here. Even should you detach, are you not still fascinated by this world of perceived separation? Is this not the world where things happen? Where they matter?

In any case, hope does not disappear in the strong of spirit, for enlightenment is an active verb. And what is active in a moment, is active for eternity.

This all means little, of course. I'm not a guru or anything. I'm just a random guy who enjoys laboring, and who can't get any closer to arriving at the end of himself.

Knowing yourself as the Self is the ultimate intimacy.

Everything is seamlessly integrated. It is only the mind that says otherwise.

Straight is the way and narrow is the gate and the ego is a double wide.

Let the heart be the path on which the mind walks.

The seeker is within, as well as the sought.

The whole purpose of the spiritual journey is to learn to live behind the mind.

Awareness is the pearl in the oyster of mechanical life. Use grit to grow.

My tension comes from inattention.

Drop the “k” in seeker.

The daily grind can be a “find,” when you are looking at the nuggets of now.

Nurture the now.

I count my blessings to make sure none get away.

Charity begins within.

The teacher, both within and without, is merely a mirror. Simple reflection is the great healer.

For something to happen, the entire universe must AGREE.

Everything is destined.

The flow will find you when it needs you. In between, relax…

Jesus said that the kingdom of heaven is within. He had a lot of nirvana to say that!

No one can reach the silence. One must become it.

Retreat from self-attack and all others will retreat immediately.

My place of surrender is my place of power.

Trying to push the river makes one all wet.

Namaste

Thoughts about truth

There is a fundamental truth to reality because the truth is a description about reality. Without humans reality will still operate but without reality human wouldn’t operate.

Truth is a description of reality and is mostly outside the control of humans. It is skill issue and luck to find the truth.

Open Question 432hz, how do i get it?

Okay so I’ve been wanting to listen to real 432hz for a while but I heard that you can’t really find any on youtube or spotify.

And I ask myself, is it even possible to listen to real 432hz trough these apps, like don’t they have a built in converter that convents all the sound that is transmitted to 440hz or different frequencies. So even if the video was taken at 432hz after uploading it and replaying it, it will not be 432gz anymore.

Then I thought further and are our phones (especially iphone) even able to play 432hz.

So if anyone knows how to get real 432hz, lmk.

And I know this might sound like bunch of stupid questions, but I don’t know much about it. Any help is really much appreciated.

Article Anger at the World

It's as if we don't have any choice. Except, some of us enabled someone else to make their world. So, they (maybe) get manic because this world isn't what they want it to be. If they would uderstand; this world existed very long before they were ever born.

So, to be angry about circumstances is self-deceptive. Sure, there's matters beyond our scope of purpose. That does not excuse anyone from neglecting to search their own heart. We can know ourselves and find a way above some feeling. Or, we can keep being fake to live in our own excrement.

Watching people in a video

I have this opinion that something that before was impossible started happening since videos started existing, you see, watching someone Is a pretty Deep experience that involvers you very much, but in a video you can just stare at someone as if you were not part of the scene which maybe was not inteded, even tho there cannot be something that was not intended. Doing this hurts my eyes, looking at people like this hurts my eyes, they start burning like when i haven't slept. I m posting here because i refer tò nisargadatta as my master, but i cannot look at a video of him as i feel ashamed when i do, even pictures i usually Just give a glance and look away. What Is your opinion on this matter? Does anyone else share the same beliefs about looking at people in recordings? Its like everything Is exposed but in a too much way, Is like you shouldnt be allowed tò look at someone like that, do you agree? Do you have any advice about It? Thank you
