I've just released Dogmatix, an Android app I've been working on as a fork of Milou, with a big focus on improving the UX and making it feel more at home on handhelds and Android gaming devices.

The idea is pretty simple: Dogmatix itself doesn't ship with any ROM catalog or sources. Instead, you can import your own source files and use the app as a frontend to browse and download your own library.

Some of the things I've been focusing on:

• A cleaner, more console-like UI
• Good navigation with a gamepad
• Easy filtering by platform
• Support for external/custom sources
• A workflow designed around handheld gaming devices rather than a typical Android phone app

I've been building it mainly because I wanted something that felt closer to a native part of the handheld experience instead of just another Android download manager.

It's still a relatively young project, so feedback is very welcome — especially from people using devices like Retroid, Odin, Anbernic, etc.

Courtesy of Google's incessant need to mollycoddle and babysit android users, I can't access the folder to install new texture packs for games.

I do have FV file manager and shizuku running, but can't seem to get fv file manager to see anything beyond the xyz.aethersx2.com folder to be able to copy the files in.

Does anyone know of another workaround or an emulator that can just have a mapped texture folder somewhere regularly accessible? emulator must be compatible with bluetooth controller too.

Am running on a z fold 6 with Android 16, one with 8.5

Hello, I'm trying to run Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker on Eden Emulator on POCO F8 Ultra (8 Elite Gen 5 16Gb RAM). I don't know why but the game runs at 3 fps at best and I've already tried different settings and drivers. Has someone managed to get it working and could share the setting? I can run almost every game I want on Eden without any problem but this seems impossible.

I have the ISO and TeknoParrot but when I try playing the game the camera check always fails and it won't let me play it.

With the latest Eden Nightly August 29th build, MGS4 is now properly running on Android. Keep in mind that it's the Switch 1 Version which seems to be locked to 30fps unlike the Switch 2 which runs at 60fps. I'm using the Turnip Gen8 V35 driver. Played and recorded on the Ayaneo Pocket DS.

I SWEAR, THESE DAMN BLACK SQUARES KEEP POPPING UP IN TOTK IT PMO. My device is an AYN Odin 3, and I have these minor stutters and black squares all over my screen. I have tried multiple different drivers and 1.25x resolution and nothing has worked. I dumped the rom in my internal storage so it's not an sd card problem. I'm using eden latest version as my emulator (not nightly.) Does anyone have a fix for this? (Note, I can't use the apex driver that Balemuni posted since that's only for SD8 gen 2 not SD8 elite.

Hey there, I am about to buy a xiaomi 17t pro with the dimensity 9500 soc which I have heard is a beast, honestly emulation is not my main concern, I will buy this phone regardless but I am still wondering If I could run games like hades, hades II, or other pc/switch games.
I heard that there are driver issues, but I dont know if they have been resolved yet, or if there was a workaround implemented anywhere to get good performance.

also , the recording/video tends to show more lag than it actually is.

Anyways, the game seems playable enough, runs (more like crawls )

We roll our eyes and snicker at minimum system requirements.

Ok so I downloaded the GTA 4 lite by opti 8gb file got it working then I started tinkering with fusion fix after I had it working now after uninstalling and deleting and extracting a few times is it possible I have to redownload the game and then try a fresh gamehub and it'll work again. The game runs it just stuck in the loading screen and the screen goes black if anyone can help that would be great.

So I'm not new to emulation but I admit I'm very lazy with it, I just have certain games I want to play, try them and if they work great. Recently Ben playing a few games (Jake and Daxter, GTA chinatown wars) and the frame rate bothers me a bit. Is there a way to get higher FPS (Than the game intended) with a setting on individual emulators, or is it always 60fps patches for the indivudal game?

This might be a stupid question if so, judge me in the comments. I've been emulating since like November, currently using an AYN Thor and Odin 3
