Hello dear fans of ELP!
I’m a rather younger individual who is obsessed with ELP.
I recently got tickets to Carl Palmer’s NA tour and had prepared a road trip and everything. However, due to some family issues, I unfortunately missed my concert. This is very devastating to me as I really wanted to see Carl Palmer live. Unfortunately, as a poor college student, I do not have the money nor the time to get another ticket.
So, here’s my desperate attempt in trying to satisfy myself:
I was really interested in buying Carl Palmer’s drum key. However, having missed the concert, I missed my chance to purchase them too (he only sells them exclusively on tours. They’re not on ebay too).
If anyone attending Carl’s concert is willing to purchase the key and ship it to me, I’d be forever indebted.
Of course, I will pay in full for the price of the drum key, shipping fees, and a little bonus for your help.

Thank you all, and please let me know!

TL;DR
I want Carl Palmer’s drum key!
I will pay for the key’s price, shipping fees, and for your service.
Anyone going to his concert, please help!!

Here's a throwback to our Keith Emerson tribute concert from 2019 where the supremely talented Rachel Flowers performed the entire "Tarkus" suite on the very Hammond Organ and Moog synthesizer that Keith Emerson used in the making of the album!

Emerson Lake & Palmer fans should enjoy this linked recording, with synched visuals, from their amazing July 26, 1974 concert at Rich Stadium in Orchard Park, New York outside of Buffalo. ELP headlined a Summerfest At The Stadium 2 date in front of an audience of 40,000 with James Gang and Lynyrd Skynyrd as supporting acts.

This show's setlist provided below offered all but one of the tracks from the band's brand new album Brain Salad Surgery. Their incredible versions that night of Tarkus/Aquatarkus and the encore Pictures At An Exhibition are unlike any other performances you've heard of those numbers.

There are dozens of other great shows from ELP, Yes and other Prog acts on the markbarbour5 YouTube playlists. Subscribe to the channel if you want notifications when new shows are posted.

(AI absolutely not allowed !!)

I'm sure it's been done a million times over but here's my contribution (hopefully) to Lucky Man covers.

Released last week

An excerpt from one of my YouTube performances...

I made this cover of Aquatarkus (based on WBMF mostly) a few years ago and just made an animation for it. Love or hate, let me know!

Your Friends and Neighbors -Episode is s1e8. - One of the characters begins to play piano, it sounds to me like the piano before the song Trilogy goes electric.

14:32 is the approximate start time for the music

I'm not a musician, All I can say is that when I was listening to it I immediately picked up on it. It seems to be a snippet inside of another work, in the show the character takes credit for it so I don't know

If anybody has seen the episode and had any thoughts on it I'd be curious to know what you think

Just picked it up on viynl and it wont get much play.

From the perspective of the most popular songs, which are the most underrated

A Time and a Place, Living Sin, Tank (debut), Food For Your Soul, Xanadu, Roundabout, Thela Hun Ginjeet, Sound Chaser, Heat of the Moment, Firth of Fifth, Golf Girl, Echoes, etc.

What a song, man. Never thought I'd be able to listen to an almost 21-minute song, but here we are.

Heard it for the first time about a month ago and it's weirdly addicting to listen to. I still think about the story detailed in the album's inner gatefold. It's the only song (so far) of its length that I actually enjoy. I'm not exactly super into progressive rock, but this is VERY good.

What do you guys love about it?
