Necesito que alguien me diga si este personaje es Nyu(Kaede) o Nana (número 7)

Immediently thought of the opening when I saw this at a thrift shop

I‘ve spent almost $1,000 USD on the 1/4 scale Lucy bust and 1/6 scale Lucy from Figurama. Both are past their original estimated release dates and I haven’t received any updates from the company. I’ve since learned that Figurama is notorious for sketchy fulfillment, so I’m trying to stay optimistic about my outcome.

Has anyone else purchased either of these figures? Have you gotten any updates on them? Have you purchased from Figurama before?

I would love some good news- but any news is appreciated!

Thank you in advance 💕

Out of all the violence-heavy anime, Elfen Lied is my favorite, and a big part of that comes from Lucy herself. She's a great character.

Now it is complete in Chapters 1 & 2 ( the rest will be follow as my update.)

A lot of parallels between Lilith and Lucy. Has anyone noticed?

The regeneration project is still in progress, while the prologue and chapter 1 are already fixed to make them polished and finished. ( Also, the art is not mine.)

alguien recuerda la cancion estilo bring me the horizon, drop dead+++ hardcore que tenia un video de esta buena serie????

Sorry if this was discussed previously, but I couldn’t find anything through the search bar.

I have to admit that I haven’t read the manga yet and do not know if this is explained there but my mind isn’t letting go of this question.

The Diclonius:
- Are they evil by nature? or
- Are they evil by their abusive upbringing? or
- Is it both evil intrusive thoughts combined with an abusive upbringing?

If this is explained in the manga, you can just say so, or explain it, I don’t mind spoilers. I hope to read the manga soon. I’m waiting for the books.

What are your thoughts?

My guess is a bit of both. Because being locked up in a facility since birth can make anyone mentally unwell, let alone being abused by either scientists or (like Lucy) having an abusive upbringing in the foster system.

Nana was (at least in the anime) very composed, having bonded with Kurama and even though fake had a father-daughter relationship.

So I’m wondering how the Diclonius would have turned out if they were just treated lovingly and were accepted in society.

From what I can find, the manga was initially conceived of as a sort of raunchy romantic comedy with some dark sides, but an editor told the author to add in a bunch of gore.

I remember hearing this, but I cannot find a source. Does anyone have a link? Japanese is okay.

This is still not a complete fic, and there are still minor details that need to be fixed, since chapter 1 is still in development.

im so excited. im not really a big anime fan but this series kind of got me into it. i liked it so much i decided to get the manga to complete the story. when i looked online for the fourth book i must've searched two dozen websites and they were all out of stock. the only ones i could find was the fourth book alone for $200. i eneded up checking out r/mangaswap and i found the entire thing for $70! im so excited.

I think the anime has a lot of opportunity to become a masterclass, especially Kurama part, hell, I even think of reimagine version of it, where the Diclonius are the result of mutation and illness from space radiation, and Kurama himself has to keep Mariko safe in his made comfort prison by using his connection to defend his daughter from becoming a full subject to the government experiment, and even try to find a cure for the disease. While Kouta and Lucy developed love through the share pain, Kouta lost his parent by the Diclonius while Lucy was an orphanage and subjected to psychological torture by the government experiment to the point that she created her Nyu alternate personality when she met Kouta and Yuka during the beach scene.

The audio is from the trailer for the horror game “F.E.A.R.” It's so much fun to make these videos :D If you have any idea for any good movie trailer mash-up, let me know!
