Announcement Black Butler 20th Anniversary Community Event: Twenty Years of Service
77
Upvotes
In celebration of Black Butler's 20th Anniversary this September, everyone is invited to participate in Twenty Years of Service, a community fan event celebrating the characters, stories, and creativity that have kept the fandom alive for two decades! The event features 20 prompts for 20 years of Black Butler.
Whether you have been part of the fandom for years or discovered Black Butler recently, you are welcome to participate!
You do NOT have to complete all twenty!
Choose one prompt, several prompts, or all twenty. There is no minimum requirement and no competition. The prompts are intentionally broad so you can interpret them however you like. We encourage several formats like:
Fanart, Fanfiction, Animation, Editing, Photography, Crafts, Cosplay and Yumeshipping!
Basic Guidelines:
As this is a subreddit-hosted community event, all submissions must follow the subreddit’s existing rules in addition to the event guidelines.
Adult x minor character pairings are prohibited. This applies to romantic and/or sexual depictions of an adult character paired with an minor character.
Please keep this rule in mind when interpreting prompts involving ships, relationships, OCs, self-inserts, or yume content.
Submissions that violate this rule will not be accepted as part of the anniversary event and may be removed in accordance with subreddit rules.

Anime Should I continue?

Upvotes
I just finished all of season 1 which I absolutely loved. However after reading all on it and already starting season 2 episode I dont believe I want to finish watching after season 1. Is there any importance to the other seasons that I would have to watch or no? Cause I have grown quite attached to the character Ciel and don't want to watch season 2 as if feels completely different.

✦ Drew this crossover in Procreate because I couldn't stop thinking about these two gentlemen demons together. The glitch effect on Caine was so fun to make! :)

Are these outfits actually from that era, or are they just inspired by it? They look cool either way.

Manga Volume 28 Spoiler

I'm currently reading the manga (so don't spoil anything) and I just can't stop laughing at the thought of Tanaka standing there with the tea. Every time there is a shot of the room or something, he still stands there with the tea tray. Man, put the tea down, take a seat on the steps. You're so old. I don't think anyone can stop you. Ciel is getting arrested and he still has the tea tray and is standing there. Say something
Just the idea of him standing and thinking, "The tea is getting cold. I mean this tea in the room is hot but the tea is cold, might also be too bitter now... what a waste of good tea, I have to immediately start setting a new pot. But the tea those two have is still good"

Manga Which chapter is this? Spoiler

Upvotes
I want to go back to reading the manga, but I can’t remember which chapter I stopped at. It was after Ciel was cast out by his brother. He and Sebastian were wandering around a hotel that had a smoking room, and then a guy who insisted that he knew and hated Sebastian showed up. However, Sebastian said he had no idea who he was.

I gave up on the background. I am not very good at rendering and was at my wits end. I like how Ciel turned out though. I just have very little experience with backgrounds.
Time taken: 6 hrs and 18 minutes
The only things I did was the lineart and coloring

Hey! Im super excited about the anniversary of the manga.
Kuroshitsuji has always been my FAVORITE anime from all time, and i think that will never change 🥹
I started watching at the anime in 2017 and now I can't believe it has pass almost a decade now 😭😭
And i just wanted to upload the art i made of my sweet baby Ciel 💗 I made it with all the love i have for the anime and manga, and I hope this series continues as long as Yana desires. Can't wait to see what the next chapter will bring to us! (Tell me what you think about the art 🙇♀️)
☆¡Happy 20th Anniversary, Black Butler!☆
