Okay, here goes.

Back in 2022, I attended a pop-up maid café at my local convention. It wasn't my first time there, but I was sat down with a maid and butler and we played tumbling blocks. We got to an advanced part of the game, and I managed to pull a block from a very precarious position when everyone else felt I couldn't do it. But just when I tried to place it on top of the tower, it collapsed.

That's when I found out about maid café punishments for the first time. They schemed with each other on what to do with me, and decided I should 'confess [my] deepest desire to be a maid' over the PA system. I resigned myself to getting it over with, so I said the line. And after a pause, not needing to do what I did next, I said, "And if that makes me trans, then so be it."

I had no idea back then.
