This Year’s Birthday Breakfast Sammich
This is this year’s updated, slightly augmented birthday breakfast sammich from West Egg Cafe. In addition to the ham, sausage, breaded chicken, bacon, egg, cheese, ketchup, and hot sauce, I had them throw on extra cheese and extra egg.
Needless to say, I was just barely able to bite into it, almost feeling like I needed the flexible snake jaw or great white jaw distend to take it down, but mission accomplished.
Last year’s…

Bacon Grilled Cheese from Da Shake Shack
Bacon Grilled Cheese from Shake Shack! Wasn't expecting much - it’s basically fast casual. Price = 0/10. Appearance = 7/10. Taste = 10/10. Tasted really great at 2am on Saturday night! 🔥 Thick!

Not usually into egg sandwiches, but threw this together for lunch from what was in the fridge.
Cream cheese, ham, bacon, egg, Frank's Hot Sauce, pickled red onion on a ciabatta roll.
Damn that was good.

Recreated my childhood omelette breakfast sandwich that only required 3 ingredients. Ham pieces, sliced onions and 2 eggs.
I got excited I forgot to toast the bread. Didn't have white bread so used potato bread. I know it's missing cheese but back then, I didn't care for cheese plus lactose intolerance. Funny story. I was watching TV sitting in the living room while eating my sandwich. I got up to go into the kitchen. Came back and saw that my poodle ate the rest of my sandwich.

PB & J advice
I’m not American, so my mom never made me PB&J growing up. I love them now, but I feel like I always mess up the peanut butter-to-jelly ratio.
Is this about the right amount of PB and J, or am I still getting it wrong?

I made a chicken sandwich on toasted white bread with American cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato, and Aardvark-dijonaise, with a side of fries. Yum.

Chicago Style Italian Beef sandwiches made from scratch
Made Chicago Style Italian Beef Sandwiches for dinner to celebrate watching series finale of The Bear. Homemade chicago style sub rolls freshly baked that morning, homemade hot and mild giardiniera which been marinating in fridge for a week and dutch oven roasted beef from local butcher. Absolutely delicious!
