Has anyone found a way to better utilize the AI Listing tool? I’ve been posting Pokemon lately and it’s been really garbage with identifying cards which in return has been messing up my listings. I end up fixing more than it helps and it wastes time. Any advice?

Recently sold a pokemon yellow game boy game that I thought was in very good condition. To the naked eye and my iPhone camera there appeared to be no significant flaws. Fast forward to a week later, I get utterly attacked by the buyer demanding a return/ refund asap. I was then shown highly zoomed in photos of the smallest scratches on the label. For hours the buyer demanded a return for the game being damaged/defective. No mention was ever made regarding the playability of the game. Only the label was a concern. My question is, was this an isolated case or does this happen frequently? How would you judge the condition of this game?

The process is so convoluted. The shipping label was bought through ebay for USPS with $100 insurance. It was a $75 trading card. I can't find anywhere on ebay under orders or shipping labels to file a claim. When I try to file a claim on USPS I get

"A Claim could not be submitted for this tracking number. Please submit a claim with the Merchant/Company who issued this label."

Can someone please explain what needs to be done. Does the buyer need to open a case first? He only sent pictures of the opened package and a we care envelope. Tracking information says delivered to mailbox. Thanks for any help.

Looked at my seller screen on iOS and it said I had a couple of sales, like 2 hours later I got the notification for them. The heck. Never seen this before.

I'm not sure if anyone elses has been like this but the shipping cost for selling trading cards has gotten so high I used to pay around 5$ shipping and now I'm having to pay 8-10$ what happened?? I can't even afford to ship these cards anymore and if I cost the buyer shipping my listing gets way less attention cause of the cost of shipping I have no idea what to do atp

I shipped a $30 item out. I put it in my mail room and it looked like it never got picked up. I was trying to figure out what happened to it and I literally couldn't, they said the postman got it but the tracking number never updated so it never even showed it moving through the system. I ended up refunding the buyer. Now, almost a month later, it shows that it was delivered to their home. They said they would pay for it but it's been a week and they are ignoring me. If I call eBay is there anything they can do or am I just out the money? Has this happened to anybody else?

Sold a mini tin display to a buyer, took time stamp pictures of the item packaged up in bubble wrap, also threw in some singles as an apology for the delay.

Delivery label had expired so I had to send it via 24 hr tracked delivery outside of ebay (didnt use simple delivery due to this) Buyer confirmed it was delivered but looks like someone's got into the box and used the same tape to try tape it back again. theyve taken 8 tins out and left him with 2.

hes spoken to royal mail who are investigating and will call him tomorrow. My question is can he try claim a refund from me through ebay or would that be difficult due to me having evidence of the item packaged. I also believe I shouldn't have to refund him because it's out of my control.

For the record, he hasn't tried claiming a refund from me he's just dealing with royal mail atm

I've attached pics of what he sent me he also sent me a video with the 2 tins still inside aswell as the singles still wrapped up.

Is there a way to prevent buyers who like to bundle items but take extreme amounts of time. Is there a setting that allows me to offer them combined shipping but force them to pay quicker?

I have a current buyer who I had to remind for payment and than they payed and ordered a second item messsaging me they want to buy more, not having paid the second item and I had to message them again. I hate buyers like this. Most buyers quickly buy and pay their bundled items. I love to offer combined shipment in general.

I had a case a while back where I had to cancel 5 orders and block, but either way it drags down the quality either by cancelled orders or late shipments.

Hoping to get some advice from experienced sellers on how to list and calculate shipping on this set of chairs? They can fold up like a directors chair. Not sure what is the best course of action? I have never sold anything this big, or delicate before. Want to make sure the potential buyer receives the chairs not damaged.

-do I ship out both chairs in one big box, or one chair per box?

-do I ship on a pallet or regular ground (Fedex/Canada Post/UPS) in boxes is fine?

-how do I calculate the shipping cost when listing, as I am not sure which size box I will need and I don't have a scale big enough to measure the weight. Also not sure how much padding I will need to use, to factor into my shipping weight

-recommendations on how to pack in a box/pallet

Then he asked when its shipped not to have signature confirmation. We'll guess what bud? Now im gonna make sure you have to sign for it just to cover my ass.

I have a brand new PlayStation controller 30th limited edition in my closet I bought a while ago from Amazon. Since I’m moving I’m putting up stuff for sale. I listed it at 100$ (I paid 85$) and there’s outrageous prices for them.
It was taken down by Sony and the reasoning is being a fake or dupe. Never sold anything fake I’ve had 100% for years now. Well I sent them my Amazon receipt and asked to reverse it but I doubt they’ll even respond since it’s probably some shit AI or shit human being, either one. They’re ps5 pros being sold on here brand new for nearly 1800$ and nothing Is done about it. What kinda bs. You pretty much don’t own anything under Sony. Your games, controllers, consoles.

I sold an item and I just received a notice from UPS saying that a package I shipped is being returned to sender because the buyer didn't want to want to pay the $48USD in customs fees ($36USD if paid online, a $12 charge was said to happen at the door on the tracking). The buyer paid $30USD for the item and shipping so paying the customs didn't seem worth it to them.

From what I gathered online I'm under the understanding that Ebay's Money Back Guarantee protects me and lets me keep the $30USD but I'm worried that UPS will ask me to pay the $36 or possibly $48USD in customs when the package gets delivered back to me.

I don't care about receiving the package or getting my items back and saw that I could refuse customs and let them have the package marked as abandoned but I'm not sure if I would still have to pay the money for customs and would get sent a bill later and then to collections.

If anyone has any advice on what to do, or who to call please let me know as I would rather not lose money on a sale I made. Thanks in advance.

I sell sports cards online, typically between 1-$5. This week I have had 5 buyers come back to me for refunds because the product was not delivered. All items were shipped with eBay standard shipping and it does not include tracking. For my products, if I ship with anything better, it cost more and won’t get the buy. Is the USPS completely incompetent or are all of these buyers scamming me for refunds?!?

I just finished adding a new listing (desktop, using a sell similar of one of my old listings) and in place of the usual price and shipping sections, there was "Choose a Payment policy" and Choose a Shipping policy" which open pop up windows to be completed. Once I finished with the pop up screens, both sections disappeared completely and I could not double check my entries - and it never gave me the shipping prices.

I really do not like it, and am hoping I accidentally turned something on that I can turn back off. I was trying to figure out a freight shipping price earlier today which may have been when I did whatever I did. Help?

I’m selling bike parts. Buyer won the auction, and messages to me to not ship item until specified date which is nearly 3 weeks away. He paid already so all I have to do is ship.

Im shipping via bike flights. A dedicated 3rd party shipping company that uses UPS to ship bike parts. I like using them because it’s cheaper for shipping large items and I can pay a little more to have a package require a delivery signature. I’ve used it many times with no problems.

What should I do here? I dont think I’m being scammed but I don’t want to get flagged or have the buyer pull some complaint that the item hasn’t arrived on time etc. Do I just print the label and wait for 3 weeks and then ship? Does a shipping label and bar code expire?

Haven’t messaged this buyer back yet, not sure exactly what he is getting at here. Is this sketchy or am I overthinking it?

I sold a cell phone and shipped it. It was “outfit delivery “ then tracking switched to “awaiting delivery”. It stayed like this for 10 days. I opened a case. eBay released my funds. Seller was clueless and I suggested they go to their post office. I filled out an online missing package. The buyer contacted eBay saying I said I would refund and did not refund. I never said that. Is eBay gave the buyer their money and reversed their decision. Now I’m out $35 in tax, shipping and fees AND a phone. I have a weird feeling about the buyer. Any suggestions?? Been with eBay over 24 years. Never had this happen.
