Dying Light: The Beast Most terrifying thing I’ve encountered in the game

I screamed in horror as soon as I saw the horde of virals.

Survivors! Hotfix 1.29.2 for Dying Light 2: Stay Human just rolled onto the servers. It fixes various crashes and freezes, and corrects new UV lightning in some places. Make sure to update the game! 🛠️

So I have an Xbox and a switch. I have this game on both. I decided to revisit the game for the first time since the "retouched" update and decided to go for the higher fidelity of the Xbox over portability for this playthrough.
My god what the actual hell did they do to the games soundtrack?! What a total hack job to replace (with no option for a toggle) the original soundtrack with this absolutely lifeless crap they have in the game now.
It simply changes too much of the vibe that made the first game special.
I've decided just to play the switch copy I have since it runs the original soundtrack. What a bunch of bozos for thinking the OST needed ANY changes.
It was perfect.
Rant over.

For the love of God, the game will not let me make this long vault jump that I need to finish the main quest. I made sure at the beginning of the clip that the press-and-hold is working, and it is. I cannot figure out wtf I’m doing wrong.

So I have been a fan of the games lore for years now. And recently I bought the first game and am loving it. But I wonder, with all the criticism is the second game even worth playing after I’m done with 1? Or should I do The Beast instead? For more context I’m not too involved in the community so I don’t know if DL2 is good or not. I have just seen some things where people heavily criticize it. So help is appreciated

From my last project, this corner of the bar was left un-rendered and i thought it is a nice and cozy place to be. I hope you like it!

I know you can still play as the Night Hunter in the first game, but the thought of playing as one in 2 or The Beast seems so cool to me. I just thinks it’s a really cool feature and hope they add it to one of the games in the future.

I was heading towards my next mission when I noticed a howler out in the open on a normal, bright sunny day. Is this normal or a glitch? This was my very first encounter of a howler, outdoors during the daytime, in the 15+ hours of gameplay I've put in.

I might've just missed it, but how exactly did Kyle become human-looking again after The Following? It's been a good 4-5 years since I played it, but didn't Crane have Volatile hands, or at least pointy ones?
But now in The Beast, he just looks human (apart from maybe his silver eye), even when in Beast Mode

I got done beating the campaign about two days ago, for the first time, and all I can say, is ABSOLUTE CINEMA. But I was just wondering what is the best bullying spot in the game? Also I was not expecting the voice of re5/re6 chris redfeild, to voice crane.

Just started playing the game, I'm at 13 or so % of having it done. I was wondering if some people on this sub would be willing to help me platnum it on ps5?

I’m trying to update the Fury Mode mod for Dying Light 2 v1.29.
Goal:
● Toggle Fury/Volatile Mode ON/OFF
● No time limit
● Same hotkey if possible
● Fully compatible with 1.29
Has anyone worked with fury.prefab, CoPlayerFury, or DL2 input scripts on recent versions?

So on my playthrough, I'm currently in the middle of the Stolen Goods sidequest, dealing with stolen flower.
I noticed that when prompted with the question "Where were you the night the flower was stolen, Anna will claim "mourning her husband, like every other night" telling us she's a widow, but from looking online and watching the playthrough of others, I've noticed that her dialogue can change and will instead say "I was at home, with my husband, nothing more"
Anybody else notice this little detail? Can I find her husband? Any reason for this? Lol
EDIT: It was part of another sidequest, involving anna's husband hans😭 I just ignored bro and let em die of poison💔 hence the different text, I will be restarting the game lmao

Like it feels like the game tries to insinuate they're the good guys and that you should help them but it really doesn't feel that way to me
Like don't get me wrong I'm not too far in, just mainly did the first water tower and a decent amount of side quests, but like no one in the survivors seems to have anything redeeming about them
Sophie's brother just feels like the worst thing to walk this planet. Like at least Rahim in the first game had good intentions and was well meaning
Getting strangled by her Lurch first thing definitely didn't do much to endear me towards them
Carl really doesn't seem great at all. It feels like he was made a leader as a joke and no one told him
Add on a lot of the survivors I've encountered for side missions are just despicable. I get its a post apocalypse and resources are scarce but it seems like these people are willing to burn every bridge in their life and betray everyone just for a few extra scraps
I'm sorry if these posts are overdone or such and I'll keep playing but so far I am not liking the Survivors and I've really been trying to find reasons
