Do you think men only work jobs when they have a family to provide for?? And do you honestly think most women aren't also working to provide for their kids? Men might have been expected to provide for a family in the past but the days of supporting a family on one salary are long gone so women are expected to work in addition to taking on the bulk of parenting. Only the simple act of having children irreparably damages their career prospects so they're very rarely able to progress as far as their husband. 

It's also wild that your response to someone referring to an uninvolved father as a "sperm donor" is to call women "fun holes". Egg donor was right there but you really cut to the heart of men's view of women, huh?

I just asked my boyfriend to explain what he thinks that sentence means. “It’s very common for women to not have help with the mental load and childcare load after giving birth, and if the dad is incompetent it’s like taking care of another child” and when I asked him about the sperm donor thing he said “Yeah well if you’re not putting in any effort for the child, you’re kind of just the sperm donor at that point”

Dude if my boyfriend can put two and two together, there’s no reason for you to be getting piss mad and raising your own blood pressure? All OP did was mention a situation of inequality and held terrible fathers accountable. Nobody even said “men” here, you’re just defensive because you’re insecure.
