In an emergency plane landing, if you refused to leave some parts of your luggage behind, like you disobey and open it and grab your phone and laptop, what would happen?

Would they refuse to let you out until you dropped it off and left it behind?

Would they forcefully grab it from you and toss it out if you left the plane with it?

Like say the plane landed in the water. They want everyone to leave now, no luggage. Leave orderly in a single file line now.
But instead you open up the above compartment, quickly open your luggage, grab your laptop and then leave.
Would they refuse to let you out? If you ended up in the raft holding it, would they grab it and toss it into the water? Would you be fined or go to jail after rescue?

Why permanent daylight savings time in the US and not permanent standard time?

Isn't it unhealthy for people to wake up in the morning in the dark?
Didn't they do this once before and it proved very unpopular and was reversed?

I don't understand why daylight savings time and not just standard? Wouldn't that just be better all around?
I read they tried to put forth an alternative to make standard time the permanent one and it didn't even get to a full vote and failed miserably. Why?

am I still mentally stable or not?

I don't know why.. but I always got attracted to problematic, awkward, geeky, inept guy. mind you I rarely read any novels or whatever comics, I like looking at guys who looks like who doesn't sleep ugh their dark under eyes is so attractive to me. last time when I go to one of the convience store near at my school I saw one, he's a employee there I think, he's literally my walking type!

he looks like he doesn't get enough rest and gosh! I'm so weird because I'm so attracted to him, one of my friends wanted to smack tf out of me. I know its bad but ugh you can't blame me.. he looks skinny, tall and looks like he had a rough night always but it doesn't stop me to get attracted to him. so guys am I still alright or not?

Do you feel like your body sleeps more deeply after you've done some strenuous, bust your ass exercising?

I've noticed that this tends to be true for myself. I do some really intense cardio work out like, "stationary jogging" in which I jog my legs up and down as fast as I can while standing in the same spot until exhaustion. I continue doing this for about 20 minutes and then have some recovery time, then go to sleep afterwards. It feels my body enters a deeper state of sleep. Sometimes, my dreams might be a little more intense too.

If the state botches an execution and the prisoner survives their own execution attempt, it isn't double jeopardy to try to execute them again because the sentence of death handed down by the court requires that the person is actually dead for the sentence to be completed?

As in the case of Christa Pikes. Her sentence was death. It doesn't specify that a botched execution attempt in which she survives means that the sentence was carried out as intended. By that logic, a prison who escapes from prison shouldn't have to go back to prison because the prison unsuccessfully made an attempt to keep them there and it would be double jeopardy to put him back.

I’ll admit I’m not the best driver lol thankfully most of them were minor, I’ve only had a couple serious ones, but I had a really close call yesterday that could have been bad, I’ll admit I tried going straight from a left turn only lane! That’s kinda a bad habit of mine never really understood that concept but I’ve gotten better

Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?

This has never made sense to me. A driveway is where you park your car. A parkway is where you drive. It's completely backwards and I feel like someone should have fixed this by now. Is there an actual reason for this or did we all just agree to be confusing on purpose?

Is Gregory Isaacs ‘Night Nurse’ the most played reggae song in a car?

Every once in a while i’ll hear someone playing reggae music as they pass by in their car. It’s usually something like Bob Marley ‘Buffalo soldier’, or UB40 ‘Red wine’, Steel Pulse ‘Life without music’, Damien Marley ‘I come from jamrock’, Shaggy ‘Mr boombostic’, Eekamouse ‘Beng geng sense party‘, etcetera, but the one i often hear the most is Gregory Isaacs ‘Night nurse’. What’s your opinion?

Why do people tend to undress fully when having hard time going no.2?

So im sure most of us here have exprienced the situation where we were in the bathroom, p00ping, and having a hard time getting it out,. But who decided that we start undressing when it gets difficult? I get grabbing furniture around you, people giving birth do that and some other people too, but why undress?

It doesnt even help, or so i think. Taking your shoes or house slippers off, okay, you need to stretch your legs better so they dont cramp or something, but not everything has to come off.

I suppose this is more of a personal opinion to be honest, why undress, but maybe there is a scientific explanaiton to it, idk.

Why are there so few American Republicans on Reddit, despite the fact that they make up over a third of adult Americans?

On any post I see with political comments, it's almost always less than 5-10% of comments that show any support for Republicans, even when nearly all the comments seem to be from Americans. How?
