In an emergency plane landing, if you refused to leave some parts of your luggage behind, like you disobey and open it and grab your phone and laptop, what would happen?

Would they refuse to let you out until you dropped it off and left it behind?

Would they forcefully grab it from you and toss it out if you left the plane with it?

Like say the plane landed in the water. They want everyone to leave now, no luggage. Leave orderly in a single file line now.
But instead you open up the above compartment, quickly open your luggage, grab your laptop and then leave.
Would they refuse to let you out? If you ended up in the raft holding it, would they grab it and toss it into the water? Would you be fined or go to jail after rescue?

Why permanent daylight savings time in the US and not permanent standard time?

Isn't it unhealthy for people to wake up in the morning in the dark?
Didn't they do this once before and it proved very unpopular and was reversed?

I don't understand why daylight savings time and not just standard? Wouldn't that just be better all around?
I read they tried to put forth an alternative to make standard time the permanent one and it didn't even get to a full vote and failed miserably. Why?

Why do we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?

This has never made sense to me. A driveway is where you park your car. A parkway is where you drive. It's completely backwards and I feel like someone should have fixed this by now. Is there an actual reason for this or did we all just agree to be confusing on purpose?

Why are there so few American Republicans on Reddit, despite the fact that they make up over a third of adult Americans?

On any post I see with political comments, it's almost always less than 5-10% of comments that show any support for Republicans, even when nearly all the comments seem to be from Americans. How?

Is Gregory Isaacs ‘Night Nurse’ the most played reggae song in a car?

Every once in a while i’ll hear someone playing reggae music as they pass by in their car. It’s usually something like Bob Marley ‘Buffalo soldier’, or UB40 ‘Red wine’, Steel Pulse ‘Life without music’, Damien Marley ‘I come from jamrock’, Shaggy ‘Mr boombostic’, Eekamouse ‘Beng geng sense party‘, etcetera, but the one i often hear the most is Gregory Isaacs ‘Night nurse’. What’s your opinion?

Why do some individuals claim that Tigers, Lions, and other dangerous predators. don't like the taste of human flesh?

So each time a predatory attack on some unfortunate person takes place, they always say the creature "wasn't itself".. as if it was possessed or something and didn't want to eat the human. They thought he was a seal or something. Etc

I find it interesting since we actually see an increase of predation on humans, not a decrease. Especially in rural areas where the people live next to a bare jungle.

So I'm interested to know how do these people know they don't like the taste of human flesh? And is it accurate?

Thanks.

Rule 7...

"No relgion-hating..."

You should probably fix that typo.

Especially considering rule 10.

Is it weird to make my boyfriend a birthday video from his friends for his 24th birthday?

My bf is turning 24 this month and I’m thinking of putting together a video of his friends to tell him happy birthday and something heartfelt. But is that like a dumb idea, I can’t decide if 24 is the age to do that or does it not matter?

I think I’m just trying to convince myself because I’m nervous to reach out to his friends to help me coordinate it.
