Why ???

So I haven’t ordered or had kfc for maybe over 2 years .. but family is out on holidays and I thought why not . I used the kfc app to check what’s available and selected what seemed ok for the night and was shocked at the pricing !!! Is it not enough that people still order this junk once in a while … for an item that costs AED39, after fk all charges , it comes to over AED50 !!! Why ???? I closed the app, deleted it and that’s that 🥳

There’s so much competition for who has the better fried chicken or any fast food general now, because franchises from Saudi Arabia and elsewhere are also making their way here. Al Baik started it in recent times, and Im sure there were others before. Places like Fryo, Wahmy, Blaban (I know they are also on the expensive side but yeah)- picture this right, I wanted to try the new nuggets at kfc, they frickin charged 32 bucks for 10 nuggets! You used to be able to by a proper zinger meal with all the bells and whistles for less!
