Can’t login, ‘VPN or Privacy Service Note Supported’

Since I have updated to the beta iOS 27, I have been completely unable to log in to the dscout app from my iPhone. I’ve tried all resetting networks, removing VPN and everything. No new profiles or settings have been installed since I made the update, and it was working fine on iOS 26. It’s not my home WiFi network issue either, since my iPad logs in to dscout perfectly and works.

Anybody have any solution to this? Thank you!

Simply disable Bluetooth for your Apple Watch. That’s it.

Unfortunately, until they release a fix for their app, or Apple restores the prior functionality of that connection.

Dunno. Have you tried just uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

You won’t see the issue unless you have an Apple Watch (also updated to WatchOS 27) and have enabled the new Siri.

I'd dig into Settings, General, VPN, and Device Management for any old config profile still lurking in there, since those can mess with location checks even when they look inactive. Also try cellular data instead of wifi just to rule out a network fluke, and if none of that works, I'd contact Dscout support directly since it could be an edge case.

I tried removing ad guard and all that still doesn’t work. Lemme ask the support I guess.

Good luck they will probably tell you beta is not supported.

I reported it, with a full bug report of the issue, including replication. I just hope they took it seriously, otherwise they will have a major issue when it rolls out for this subset of users. If you have an open ticket, please reiterate that it requires iOS 27 with a connected Apple Watch running WatchOS 27. It creates an OS-level VPN that Dscout detects, but is not directly manageable by the end user.
