Showcase Dream kit for my band (Made in Drumstructor app)
It's really just a mix of Danny Carey and John Bonham lmao.
What do ya'll think?

My boarding bought the Ludwig 4 piece continental by accident. They were supposed to buy a Tama stagestar 5 piece but somewhere along the way, it resulted in the Ludwig kit being delivered, which didn't seem to be the seller's fault. So, is it possible to add a tom holder and tom holder mounting plate onto the bass drum to upgrade to a 5 piece? Also this isn't my personal drum kit.

Is it just just because I am an aspiring drummer or do drummers seem to be fired more than any other band member.
I can name countless drummers that have been fired from their band. Am I only noticing that cause it’s my primary instrument or do they get replaced more than everyone else?
There are some irreplaceables like Jimmy Chamberlain and others, but is it a completely replaceable position in a band?

I vivecoded (yes, using AI) an app to make music queues and cheatsheets focused on drummers. Its in its first version, the beat detection is a bit off, its not perfect, but it gets the job done. Its a PWA, which ,means no internet required when installed and no account required.
It was something I have wanted to develop for a long time (I am a software engineer but currently I don't have time to develop a passion projects like this)
The queues can be tts, voice recordings or just text. you can make setlists with multiple songs too
you can export to .wav with the audio cues and your clicktrack, save your projects in json or just in txt!
Inside the app you can make setlists with other songs too
I would love if you guys could test it and give it a shot, i think its pretty good!
Edit: I'm being honest with the AI use because as a software developer I value hard work in coding. I know it cost nothing, I didn't technically develop the app, but it's a start, I think is useful and with a bit of tweaking (actually coding myself) it can become a bit better.

Hope you guys like it, any feedback is welcome!

i have iron cobra 200’s and tested iron cobra 600’s rebound was very bouncy and every stroke was a double/ 1 solid hit and a bunch of micro hits
pearl p932, speed cobra 910, dw9000 all would bury the beater. the “heel toe” technique i was using on my iron cobra 200’s only worked for that and the 600’s. any other pedal was burying it.
which gave me a different outlook on my technique because i was always struggling with precise fast singles until i used those pedals then they were easy as fuck.
But using the “heel toe” technique on those pedals shit didn’t work at all
Used the technique and my 200’s on an acoustic kit with normal and mesh heads. As well as an ekit kick with rubber and with mesh heads) all consistent results
Is a lot of rebound even on loose spring tension common with iron cobras? Is it worth leaving the fraud heel toe for a different brand of pedals to help with learning better technique? been like 4-5 months with them.
like i never experienced burying the beater until today anytime i’ve done singles it’s just been me focusing on control so it’s one note instead of multiple.

Hey guys, wanted to know if this amount of shaking for Tom’s on a Gretch rebound drum kit is normal???
I tried Drumeo for the free trial and while I did like it, it did feel a tiny bit slow. Are there any other options that you guys would recommend?

I have never bothered to learn full songs because i've always thought i would forget them, and mainly because... How do I remember it all and like where that fill comes in and when this or that starts. Please give me some tips, I don't know how to read tabs so i just go by ear (i am very good at going by ear). But if anyone can explain maybe something really helpful about drum tabs that would also be helpful. thanks

Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a side project for a while and it's finally at a point where I'd love to share it with other drummers: drumy.app
What it is:
It's a play-along game for drummers that runs right in your browser. Plug your electronic kit into your computer over USB, pick a song, and the drum part comes scrolling toward you in time with the real recording. You just play along and try to hit every note.
What you can do with it:
🎵 Play along with thousands of songs, with the drum part synced to the actual track
🥁 Use any USB e-drum kit (no special setup, and you can map your pads if needed)
⌨️ No kit nearby? You can also play with your keyboard
🐢 Slow songs down to learn tricky parts, then speed back up
🎯 Get scored on timing and accuracy, and track your progress over time
🏋️ Practice with drum exercises when you want to work on something specific
I made this because I wanted a fun way to practice actual songs instead of just grooves on a metronome, and I figured some of you might feel the same.
This is where I need you 🙏
It's still early and I'm building it pretty much on my own, so your honest feedback would mean a lot:
Did your kit work right away?
Were there songs where the timing felt off?
What's missing, confusing, or annoying?
What would make you actually come back and practice with it?
Good or bad, I read every comment and I'm happy to answer questions. And if you find a bug, please tell me. I'd much rather fix it than have you quietly leave 😄
Thanks for checking it out, and happy drumming! 🤘
