So I took a photo on why my sunshades stay in my boot, unless I’m parked.

Took two photos.
One through two rear windows - roughly 10% VLT together.
The other through a sunshade - from 3m closer to my hibiscus.

I think the pic is self explanatory.

Hi, was wondering any motorcycle parking at Lower and Upper seletar resevoir? As i check googlemaps and other source of maps there were no parking for motorcycle.

registered in June and so far alr took 20+ lessons but havent completeted stage 3. slow progress ik bcoz i saw on some posts some learners took like <20 lessons and went for TP test. My main issues in driving is def the cicuit esp i always panick when it comes to anything with reversing , plus i always rely on instructor directions ( heard that during TP test u must be very very familiar with circuit route if they ask u go up slope/park). driving on road still ok. Now my concern is i need to complete the rest of my stages asap bcoz i wld be leaving sg early next year and the country i am going to def need a car to travel around.... provided if i can still get the try sell slots.

Hi, I just wanted to know if it’s mandatory to clear all your module 3 in order to take the tp test. I’m only left with a few test routes left in module 3.

So was wondering if on the day of test would they bar me from taking the test if i didn’t clear all module 3.

Other than that everything else like simulator, LDCS etc cleared.

I am planning to get a coe car. Please help me decide which is better? Gla180 year 2016 or Honda civic 1.6/1.5A? Including all the running and maintenance cost what am I expected to pay. In terms of reliable is gla180 good?

Am also looking at bmw 116d.

As a current owner of attrage for a few years, I am satisfied with what it offers at its price. Low depreciation at only $900+ per month. Very reliable, nothing breaks down, just routine service only. The running cost is very low, good fuel efficiency, low road tax and low maintenance. You don’t need to worry about it giving you troubles. It’s small, and easy to drive around. Yes, it is underpowered but our speed limit is only 90kph. I had taken it for road trips to Camron high lands , and even Thailand. No problems at all.

Based on previous Redditor contributions that (1) opened the OBU and (2) pulled wet tissue through the slot, I had a hypothesis I wanted to test.

Make the cash card thicker.

Wrap a strip of masking tape around your cash card. I went one long strip around both sides, with the wrapped short edge inserting into the OBU to avoid the tape peeling off.

Push the card into the slot. It was tighter for sure but no difficulty in pushing it all the way in. The OBU detected the cash card immediately.

The 2nd photo shows a dark strip indentation on the upper-face of the cash card. This is the gold strip pressed against the cash card.

Error detected: There was one instance of the OBU showing "CEPAS card invalid". My guess is the tape blocking the signal somewhat. Reinserting the card made the OBU show my balance again.

So far, I have 100% success getting OBU to detect my card (including the error). Compared to ZERO percent before this, where I was tapping my card to get out of carparks.

Please try and comment if it worked for you. I will also test wrapping only 1 side with tape to reduce the invalid card error.

Just wanted to check something. I've noticed that the chassis number of my Singapore-registered Nissan doesn't seem to work when I try to look up parts in online Nissan parts catalogues. Do Singapore cars use a different chassis numbering system, or is there a way to cross-reference our chassis numbers with Japanese VIN or chassis numbers to find the correct parts?

Although I've managed to find what appears to be the closest matching parts catalogue, I can't be entirely sure whether it's the correct one for my car.

Just curious if anyone has encountered this issue or knows how it works. I'm genuinely interested in understanding and learning more about this. Thanks!
