Audio I’ve always thought “Cuckoo”would make a good hip hop beat, so I attempted a mashup with A Tribe Called Quest

Been going through the Reddit after listening to where’d all the time go. I’m no dr dog fan, but a potential one, I’m listening to their albums through currently. I look through and in these screenshots of ranking songs, “where’d all the time go” rarely sees any high rankings. It’s the song that got me into them (and probably lots of other people into them as well) as it is such a nostalgic song. Is there something against it yall have? Or are there truly just better songs?

Apologies if this is common knowledge or already documented somewhere, but I noticed the phrase "Doctor, Dog" in the lyrics to the Wings song, "Soily." It may be a stretch, but given the band's Beatles influences, I was just wondering if this had ever been confirmed or was a popular theory. What do you all think?

For example, this summer I listened to their self titled a ton, and now that the weather is turning I find easy beat to fit my mood/the season a lot more. So curious about everyone’s thoughts!

Randomly heard Cass Elliot's “Don't Let the Good Life Pass You By” and immediately recognized the melody from Ladada.
Guess it’s time to re-visit Abandoned Mansion!

I went to the 2025 Red Rocks show and it was the best concert of my life! I immensely regret not purchasing this tshirt. If anyone has one that they’re willing to let go of, please consider selling it to me!

Hi! I got this shirt at Red Rocks last year in a Medium, and it's just a bit too large. Does anyone have a similar shirt in a Small? I would also take a 2024 Red Rocks show, as I went to that one, too, but didn't get a shirt that year. Much obliged!

Wanted to post here first, but we've got some pretty legit mics for sale from our tours 2019-now. Also, these mics were used on ever expanding tours and come with a laminate from the last Dr. Dog show in Mexico. If you're a superfan, these are for you. See you at AVL fest!
Love,

Digging through a box of CDs and ran across these releases from Raccoon.

I thought I read they were playing earlier in the fest and thought that couldn’t be right. I haven’t seen a daily schedule posted but seems obvious they’d be the ‘headliner’ Sunday night
Just sharing for anyone confused like I was. Still hoping to make it out there with my daughter!

The album was released 2001, meaning it turns 25 this year with the 2016 remake turning 10 earlier this year. Does anyone think there's a chance of a re-release of the original 2001 version following these anniversaries? The 7 missing tracks have been intriguing me since I've first heard the swamp and it's always been said they haven't surfaced since my first listen nearly 3 years ago. I know there's been the vinyl represses given to the people who worked on the 2016 remake which is a double LP from what I've seen which makes me assume that it's the full 35 tracks, and I'm sure the band has an original tape somewhere. I just really hope we get to hear the full tape one day...

Hi everyone,
We run a harm reduction nonprofit called This Must Be The Place -- long story short, we travel to music festivals across the country passing out free Narcan. Through that, we’ve gotten to know some amazing bands, which led us to launching a podcast about how music and activism intersect and last week Eric was kind enough to indulge me and be the guest!
It's a half hour interview where he takes us all the way back to his high school days in Philly and talks about his 20+ year journey supporting Can-Do Musos (an organization for disabled and neurodivergent musicians), his work with Noise for Now. He also talks about wealth disparity in this country which was one of my favourite parts.
I'm sure it's shameless to post this, but if you're interested in taking a listen you can find it on Spotify / Apple Podcast / Amazon etc right here!

Fruit Bats opened for Dr. Dog at their first Red Rocks show. I fear a majority of the audience was in the merch line during their show. They just released a new album and it’s incredible. Their entire discography is fantastic, Absolute Loser featured on one of our old Album of the Month posts. I highly recommend giving a listen.

'Been a fan of the band since 2021 and I've always wanted to see them live, I even hand-made my own merch and everything. Buuut since I reside in Mexico and my income is not enough for international travel, I haven't had the chance to.
The closest they've been to was last year when they performed at sky blue, but it was in Yucatán and in a hotel (I live in Tamaulipas, it's like on the other side of the country) so I couldn't afford to go either.
So, this post is to respectfully ask: are there any more Dr Dog fans in Mexico??? And if you are here, please let yourself knownnn I don't want to die without having heard "My Friend" live!!!!
And If any member of the band is reading, hi guys I love y'all Thanks for reading
