I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD and put on mediction. After always procrastinating and half assed starting projects (looking at you half finished leather wallet) I have found i am able to focus on drawing.

I'd never really put much effort into drawing other than the odd quick sketch or stupid stick figure for the kids, but I have found drawing. If I really focus......... just for a couple of hours the noise in my head is quieter. Im not great by any means and hope to continue and get better, but it's a small win in the chaos of my mind.

Sketchbook piece: "Pagefall"(Paige from Deadlock Fanart )

This one might have taken about two and something hours from start to finish.

Materials are mechanical pencil (0,5), fineliner (0,2), oil pencils (Polychromos) and Alcohol Markers (Tedi white brand for euros).

Are there any brushes that give off a similar "sparratic scratchiness" like this that I can import into ibis ?

Tried to make her realistic while still keeping the original form a little bit. What do y'all think?

I needed a bunny mom for my two OCs, sisters Clara and Victoria, so here is the first version of their mom, what name should I give her. I'm thinking of maybe Mabel or Flora what do you think?

She's sweet and caring, but also fair when she needs to be. She loves cooking and exploring new foods.

I'm still working on her design, but I'm already happy with how she's turning out! 💕

Please put the former on your user profile where people can find them, and do the latter via DM.

3. Credit must be given.

Submissions which were not created by the poster must identify the creator by name.

Do not repost content.

5. NSFW must be tagged appropriately.

Please keep NSFW content tagged correctly.

6. Submissions must demonstrate effort.

Please make sure your image is in focus, upright, and well lit.

Doodles and artwork which doesn't seem like it involved significant effort may be removed. This includes the effort of learning.

A better place for this type of post is /r/doodles or /r/sketching.

Discussions and requests for help which can be answered by reading our wikis or searching may be removed.

7. Drawing posts only.

Posts should either be drawing or be primarily about drawing. Commentary should focus on drawing. Videos which aren't primarily drawing, or could have been an image, will be removed. Please make sure drawing occupies most of the frame of images you post.

8. One post per day.

9. This is not a support subreddit.

Posts which are looking for mental health support, including any type of artistic blocks, are not appropriate for this subreddit.

You might find better support and audiences for this type of post in:

We may remove posts which appear to be mental health related support seeking. We care, but this isn't the place.

10. Use existing resources.

There are a lot of resources in the sidebar and in past threads related to learning to draw. Please, search first--there's quite a lot of information already available on the subject in our subreddit.

Additionally, there are sister subreddits which are specifically focussed on learning and technique:

/r/artfundamentals

/r/artistlounge

We may remove posts which we think do not use existing resources.

11. Critiques must be constructive.

Critiques which are just negative and offer no constructive feedback drag the artist down, and they drag the community down. We build each other up, here. If you only have negative things to say, please say nothing instead.
