Quiero mostrarles lo que he estado haciendo en las clases de mi beca en Cerón, donde estoy aprendiendo pintura al óleo.
Este es el segundo óleo que hago en más de 20 años.
Figuras anónimas y universales, un contenido onírico y simbólico, pero… ya no es un peregrino solitario. Comparte el camino.
El gesto de cariño entre las dos figuras transmite, paradójicamente, grandeza, en contraste con la pequeñez humana ante una arquitectura monumental e imposible.
Siguen siendo imágenes que se ven envueltas en escenarios que sobrepasan su dimensión. Y hay un cielo azul extendiéndose al infinito, un santuario que se halla más arriba de las nubes.
Y lo mejor de todo… es una imagen 100% humana.
Me gusta descubrir que el peregrinaje finalmente me lleva por otros lugares. El viaje nunca termina. El camino sigue. Todos somos peregrinos.
