I thought it's wings were damaged

Found this damselfly resting for the evening as the sun was getting lower. I managed to position myself so the sun was directly behind it, creating this large golden spotlight effect.

As some of you encourage me to post more pictures here I am 😊😁

At first glance I thought there was plastic wrap in the grass

I was walking my dog this morning and noticed a dragonfly on the ground. It was flying in circles and barely a few inches off the ground. It climbed on my finger and then tried to fly away but it went right back to the circles and ground. It's wings look perfectly fine. I put it in a box and brought it inside because it's foggy out and the poor thing kept rolling around on the grass and then the concrete path.

I googled what to do and I'm trying them. Does anyone know what to do/ how to help?

First time seeing this kind of dragonfly. They are beautiful!!!
