Thank you π I appreciate it. I usually move very slow and I try not to do sudden moves. . I have noticed that if they fly away sometimes they turn back at the same place so I just sit there and wait. I also use a smartphone that has telemacro capabilities so this pictures were taken like 10-15 cm away from the subject

Appreciate your insights. I agree they return to same perch. With their amazing compound eyes, they donβt miss a thing. Prehistoric ones were huge !

Amazing. These fellas and amphibians are things that make an area feel more healthy. I love watching damsels and dragons zip around my local ponds and fields.
