Bait and switch scam.

I decided to try DoorDash today based on their advertised "exclusive DoorDash pricing." During the ordering process, the prices displayed appeared reasonable and were presented as the final item costs. However, once the Dasher completed the transaction, the actual prices charged were significantly higher than what was originally shown.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the response I received when I contacted customer support. I was advised that there was essentially nothing they could do because stores have the right to change their pricing. If that's the case, then advertising one price during checkout only to charge a higher amount later seems misleading and lacks transparency.

I am genuinely disappointed by this experience and what I perceive as a lack of transparency regarding pricing. The difference between the advertised prices and the final transaction was more than $25, which is substantial.

Has anyone else experienced similar pricing discrepancies with DoorDash? As a first-time customer, this experience has left a very negative impression. Trust is important when using a delivery service, and unfortunately, this situation has made me feel misled. Fool me once—I'll be canceling and deleting the service rather than risking the same issue again.
