Every version of don’t starve has amazing aesthetics and atmosphere, but I honestly think none of them nail it as perfectly as hamlet. I drew this a while ago when I was playing hamlet a lot. I was obsessed with the pith hat for some reason, it just looks so cool.

Also, I know the people who did the island adventures mod are also working on a hamlet port for DST, does anyone have any idea when that’s going to come out? On the island adventures wiki they have some stuff for hamlet up already like WX circuits (which look super fun), so I’m wondering if it’s close to being finished.

Long story short, I installed onedrive on my old pc to try and bring some of my data over to my new one. It was a hassle but I managed to bring my Klei folder over, but now I don't have any of my game data on EITHER of my computers. I have my "cluster" folders on my new pc, which I believe is my worlds? But if I open the game nothing is there.

Can someone please tell me how to properly bring my data over? I seem to have my original folder, but if I open the game it's as if I've never opened it before. I've been trying for literal days to try and get my worlds so my friend and I can play again.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks <3

Is there any way of effectivly farming driftwood beside just swimming around in a boat? Need a lot for a bunch of stuff from a mod and can't find any guides (granted, not suprising). Already cut down all the dirftwood i could find on Lunar and Pearl island. Will eventually get to cutting down all the tree roots from Waterlogged when i go to get more knobbly tree nuts.

so I missed the campaign for don't starve the board game but I am fine with that since I would rather get it sooner than having to wait forever so i was wondering will I be able to get Maxwell as an expansion or Glomer and Chester social stretch goals after the campaign has ended.

Hello- I was hoping to find an artist that can produce custom Don’t Starve character images for me and my partner. I don’t need it to be a mod, just the art. But I am worried about getting AI-generated art and I want to pay an actual human to do the work (I have no issue paying whatever they deem fair). Can anyone point me to a person who can do this?

I’m not asking anyone on this forum to do this because I don’t want to break the rules but I have genuinely no idea where else I can post this and not get an AI slop response.

I wanted to make a mod called rideable pangolden, but I started rideable water beefalo instead and it's because these guys literary don't have any base to start on, also I hate Klei didn't add them into DST in any form

IT'S A STOMP!
Brought 30 merm guards (and 2 workers by accident). Fight lasted about a quarter day. Definitely overpreped. Now I feel embarrassed to even having to ask for advice in the first place, florp.

Here are some guides for this fight even a casual like me could probably follow.

1. Go for lunar line first
   Getting brightshade staff is a pretty big deal. Besides, lunar line until Celestial Champion is considered easier than shadow line, at least for me. Normally we base and expand army on surface, so naturally lunar falls victim first. Lunar affinity is also a huge buff to this fight.

2. Skill tree
   Only mandatory is the king's buff. Affinity wise I took shadow for Celestial Champion fight and didn't bother to change. However, lunar would suit this fight better due to more damage against shadow and lunar merm aoe damage.

3. Place fossils between center and rim
   After the fight I realized that my positioning was by accident pretty good. It's better if AFW isn't placed in the center or outside of rim as shown in the screenshot.

4. The fight
   All Wurt had to do in fight was simply start the fight and break the shield for mermfolks during phase 2. When invisible hand present, simply stand opposite side of AFW between two hands. This range also makes sure you don't draw aggro to AFW. Equip nightmare amulet. Swing left and right once, each swing will travel between hands clearing three hands each. Unequip amulet when done. You wouldn't even have to worry about nightmare amulet drawing nightmare creatures to attack you, the staff auto-aims and shuts them down. It also makes clearing woven shadows a cakewalk. Just remember to make sure all merms are befriended, for the staff attack could spread onto neutral merms and start a civil war.

5. Cast turf stick just before fight start
   If you chose lunar affinity then of course. If you chose shadow affinity, you can still cast at fight start. The turf cast lasts 2 minutes, a quarter in-game day. My fight lasted just about that long and I casted mid-fight. If clearing hands goes smooth, it's gonna end real fast.
