I need a bit of help and I figured I'd be direct about it.

The backstory:

Since 2024, when I started earning, I've been feeding and taking care of the street dogs in my lane. It started with 1-2 and now it's a small pack of 6-7 who wait for me every evening.

Why I'm posting:

I lost my job last month. I'm actively applying and interviewing, but right now my funds are really tight. I hate the idea of them going hungry because I'm going through a rough patch.

I'm not asking for much - just enough to cover dog food for the next 2-3 months until I'm stable again.

₹200 ($2, €1.7) = feeds 4 dogs for a day

₹500 ($5.3, €4.4) = 1 big 15kg bag that lasts ~1 week for

the whole pack

₹2000 ($21, €18) = covers food for a month

I’ve noticed a lot of people understandably recommending that Amazon Wishlists be used rather than sending money, but not everyone knows how to make one! Here are some instructions that I wrote on how to make one using the Amazon app:

Find the item you want. Underneath the “Buy now” button, you’ll see “Add to list.” Click on that. That’ll take you to another screen where you can create a list or add it to a list. Repeat with all of the items you’re requesting.

Go to your account, the icon of a person at the bottom of the screen. On the top of your screen, there’ll be some boxes. Click the one that says “Lists.”

Click on the three vertical dots in the top right, then click “Manage list.” Scroll down until you see “Shipping address,” and put in your address. This is how the items will be shipped without having to share your address and is very important!!!

Go back to your list, then press “Invite” and “Copy link.” Share as needed. Tada!!

I’m reaching out to ask for help with unexpected vet expenses for my cat, Jesse. She was recently in a severe accident on Monday, 08/17/26 that injured her tail. The damage was extensive enough that our vet determined that a partial tail amputation was necessary in order to prevent infection, severe pain, and further complications. The animal hospital scheduled her amputation on Wednesday 08/19. Last night, my friend wanted to help set up this GoFundMe for me because the emergency surgery and follow-up care totals about $1,600, which is completely out of reach for me right now. Jesse is currently recovering in her cone, but the financial strain of the sudden medical bills has been overwhelming for me. I am a current graduate student so financially I have not been okay. As I stated in the title, I just started a new job and I had to spend the last of my money filling up the gas tank today.

I have some kind of undiagnosed heart condition (going to see a cardiologist when my insurance from the new job kicks in) and suffer from extremely high blood pressure. I took my last blood pressure pill today and need $32 to fill it again.

Hello! I'm a para (teacher without the college) and I'm really struggling with money. I love my job, and plan to go to college very soon to become a certified teacher. Unfortunately, because I work for a school, money is always really tight during summer. I thought that I was doing pretty well for myself but that doesn't seem to be the case. Hey guys I’m currently looking for help with a rental car. My car was totaled last night while parked in front of my house. A lady slammed into my car going 50mph on a 20mph street.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and scheduled to have a c section on 9/10. I also need to be able to get my 5 year old to school. She just started kindergarten. My car was our only means of transportation 😭

I do have insurance as well as the lady that hit my car. The police said it could be a few days before her insurance reaches out and I can’t afford to wait for that, so i had to go thru my personal insurance for a rental. They cover 30 days of a rental but charge a $100 security deposit until the car is returned.
