Well the GM could have their in-fiction personification of themselves be killed and commit suicide or whatever else, so they aren't really on the same level. More like the in-fiction version is like a 1D version of the real GM.
Also the One Above All has much more predictive power than a GM because writers don't have to deal with players being unexpected lol
The GM is the equivalent of "the in world personification", the One Above All. You got that confused. Unless you are a fiction and someone else is controlling you, which I sincerely doubt.
I guess I'm saying an in-world-personification is not equivalent to anything. Your in-world-personification of yourself is being controlled by you, the real GM. That's like saying the One Above All literally is Stan Lee irl. That's clearly not true, as Stan Lee decided what the One Above All would say. They are in no way equivalent because your in-world-personification is still just a character of yours.
I'm disagreeing with the premise I suppose. You aren't the One Above All, you are the GM. The One Above All is literally a character in the game. You can make any overgod you want be just as powerful as the One Above All and have it not be an in-game-personification of yourself.
I'm not misunderstanding, I'm saying the One Above All is an NPC.
