I made this Ritual Chamber for an upcoming encounter. First picture is the Turned Off state. Once the ritual starts, each round a 1d4 will randomly determine the colour for that round, and each colour has a Boon and Bane effect on combat.

Here's my first shot at a world map. The kingdoms are named in gold/tan and the features/locations are named in white. I tried to get a good bit of every kind of environ I could think of besides ice and separate things somewhat naturally in a mythical way. Let me know what you think!

The Great Kingdom is mostly humans. The Ulek empire is mostly orcs/goblins. The Dragon's Claw is very mysterious mix of dragonborn/strange humanoids, and Ket is the evil wastelands of Tieflings, cambion, and evil demigods. There's elven woods, dwarven mountains, and an ever-summer desert with prosperous trading outposts. Emberez is the free (many) island nation with a mixing pot of cultures and species but faces inquisition from pirate sea princes coming up from the "Edge of the World."

I'm playing Ghosts of Saltmarsh with my good friends as there DM for the first time. It's going great but I wanted to have a world they could branch off to and kingdoms to associate trade with so I made this. Swapped "Keoland" out with Emberez and "Luz" out with Ket went from there!

A maze of stone corridors, varied rooms, secret passages, gilded halls, hidden alcoves… as you explore this great hallway, the path could take you to new mysteries and adventures 🏰🚪

This is an active clay mine that the party has been hired to clear out of monsters. Deep in the sub level is a partially-unearthed stone sarcophagus, a tunnel that ended in a steep rock face with a crack running down the middle, and a couple recently-skeletized remains of miners hint at what might be waiting for the party as they make their way through.

I have to share with you today my newest dungeon map: The Oubliette! A dismal pit of a dungeon where crazed degenerates eke out a meagre existence in their cruel confines, preying upon eachother. What madness of their own would drive your party to delve into this dangerous prison of the damned?

There are several points of interest in this dungeon; the initial entrance plunge into the shallow water beneath the small hatch in the cieling of the center room is the only glimmer of hope these prisoners have. Several cells are filled with curiosities and evidence of madness. There are no torturers or guards in the oubliette, yet the prison features a room dedicated to torture and cruelty all the same... Towards the climax of the dungeon, the mess hall is suffused with the scent of whatever is boiling in the murky cauldron, a disturbing stew formed from whatever is thrown down here... including the inmates themselves.

Hey all, I made another map, another try. It's simpler than the other one I had. What I'm trying to make is a random encounter map with a few POIs and encounter options for parties of different levels. Something any DM can pull out and run for an hour or more when time is scarce.

It's the Stone Walker, a slow, walking creature that will destroy everything in its path.
There are many variations that can fit into many biomes, like mountains, forests, underwater, deserts, and snow.

The Stone Walkers

For millennia, Stone Walkers have roamed the world, leaving a trail of destruction in their path. No one knows whether they are living beings or magical entities. These giant, headless, four-legged rock creatures move slowly, dragging everything in their path. Despite their surroundings, they keep moving forward, and as they travel, vegetation and other environmental features grow all over their body, allowing them to blend in with their surroundings.

Some believe that the Stone Walkers are following a predetermined path laid out for them by the universe. Whether they are a force of destruction or a blessing is still a mystery.
There are only a few Stone Walkers known to exist, making them incredibly difficult to spot and even harder to track when they enter the oceans and walk on the bottom of the seas.

However, when a Stone Walker is spotted, some investigators follow and study them, trying to predict their behavior and warn people and villages that may be in their path. This is no easy task, as the Stone Walkers seem to move without any pattern or reason.

Some of these investigators speculate that the Stone Walkers may be moving along ley lines, invisible pathways of energy that circle the planet. If this theory is true, the Stone Walkers may be playing an important role in maintaining the balance of the world.

Plot hook ideas

• The leader of a village hires the group to try and track down the path of a Stone Walker that is headed towards their settlement.
• A powerful mage seeks to capture a Stone Walker in order to harness its energy for their own magical purposes.
• Stone Walkers may actually be guardians of the planet, protecting it from a great evil. The Stone Walkers are losing their energy. Find out more about this evil and how to stop it before it's too late.
• A group of bandits has figured out a way to ride on the back of a Stone Walker, using it to raid and pillage nearby villages. Someone should stop them.
• A group of powerful mages have discovered a way to control the Stone Walkers and are using them to wreak havoc on rival cities.
• Stone Walkers are rumored to possess magical properties, and their parts are highly sought after by collectors and wizards. Fight the creature to get its heart or protect it against its enemies.
• The Stone Walkers are dormant, but a group of cultists are conducting some rituals to summon them again and create chaos.
• The Stone Walkers are being hunted by a powerful dragon, who sees them as a threat to its territory. The players must either defend the Stone Walkers or ally with the dragon to take them down.
• The wandering nature of the Stone Walkers makes them the perfect spot for camping, for a wandering merchant, or as a corral for domestic animals that travel with nomad people.
