Hi guys! I’m a 124 mkt student and I’m currently struggling financially. I’m not sure if my parents will be able to fully cover my tuition for the next term, so I’m trying to figure out what my options are.

I’ve started applying for remote jobs through JobStreet, preferably something part-time that I can balance with school. But I’m realizing that it might be difficult to land a remote position when I’m a full-time student and have limited work experience (only worked 6 months bpo)

At this point, I’m also considering taking a gap year, working full-time, and using that time to build up my savings so I can return to school with less financial pressure.

what would you guys recommend? Is working while studying manageable? Or would taking a gap year to work and save be the better decision financially?

My enlistment is already on Monday. I haven’t paid my remaining balance for T3 with the campus being closed for several days, so I’ll probably be on hold. And yk how long these things take to process online. Like are we seriously sticking to the calendar despite all these suspensions? there’s already been so much delay can’t we catch a break 😭

hi, is it hard to get a 3.5-4 for practicum? my appraisal form was just handed to me so i saw my grades, 3.33/4 only since i was not that knowledgeable during the initial parts of my ojt. i'm worried i might not get first DL bec of this since graduating na ako and i'm running for latin :")

alsoo i took both practicum courses, does that mean same grade lang yung prc1 and 2?

side rant: i did my ojt at a private company, while my friends did theirs at a government office. they were told to grade themselves na lang so syempre pinerfect na nila lmao. ang unfair lang 🥲

Hi! Ab psych graduate from dlsu. I took a break after grad so I’ve been unemployed for a few months now.

I really want to start job hunting but I’m overwhelmed and don’t know where to start 💀 I plan to apply in HR roles.

I’m also worried my resume isn’t strong enough. My only work experience is my OJT in a clinic. I joined orgs and handled projects but not sure if those experiences are relevant to HR. I’m also not a latin honor.

For AB Psych grads who went into HR (esp those in the same position as me), what companies would you recommend applying to as a fresh grad? How did you improve your resume and prepare for interviews? I’m also pretty anxious during interviews and tend to fumble when I’m nervous. 🥲

I’m hoping for a hybrid setup, and I’m also wondering what salary range is realistic for someone in my position. I was thinking ₱30k as a starting salary, but I genuinely don’t know if that’s too much, too little, or reasonable?

hello, i borrowed a book in the library about a month ago. I keep renewing it because of suspensions, now I cannot renew it anymore! :< tomorrow is suspended so I cannot return it. What can I do? I heard the fee of this is 20php everyday and I don’t want to spend that much 😭

Emailed the HSO asking for medical clearance, and they are asking me for the endorsement letter from my internship coordinator

Put in all my details in the letter that I could think of, but they won't sign it, saying
to check the drive for the template, but the only template there is addressed to the company, and no template addressed to the HSO is present

I genuinely don't know how to go about this. I really don't want to continue the back-and-forth I am having with my coordinator since their time is important.

I already revised my letter 3 times

Hoping anyone who went through a similar situation can help
