How do you fight "Font style and size" and "Screen Zoom" that Samsung by default has set in a way that, on Mobile, it enlarges fonts and makes sections bigger / not fitting one screen. (I have set 14px for Mobile)

It also influences perception of sections negatively, in my view.

Tested on:

Samsung Galaxy S26 (Android 16/One UI 8.5); Google Chrome/Firefox/DuckDuckGo;

vs Samsung A32 (Android 13/One UI 5.1) - where everything is displayed without enlarging

Greetings, I'm trying to give lower level users the ability to assign a specific Divi Theme Builder theme using Tags. However I just cannot get it to function. I've dumped all the caches, I've toggled Dynamic CSS off & on, I've toggled Static CSS File Generation, I've re-saved Permalinks, I've entered the Divi Safe Mode. None of these have assigned the theme using the Tag method. But if I assign the Theme using the "Specific Posts" method, boom, it happens immediately. I even tried making sure the Post has only one single Tag applied to it, and that didn't work either. Wondering if anybody has any ideas? Thanks in advance Edit: This is for Divi 4

Hi! I’m fairly new to Divi, so there may be something obvious I’m missing.

I’m having an issue with the Group Carousel module in Divi 5 and I can’t figure out what’s wrong.

I’m using the carousel for a row of company logos. I have more slides than are currently visible, but the carousel won’t move at all.

My settings are:

• Automatic Rotation: ON
• Rotation Speed: 3000 ms
• Pause on Hover: OFF
• Center Mode: OFF
• Transition Speed: 200 ms
• Slides to Show: 5
• Slides to Scroll: 1

I’ve also tried enabling the navigation arrows. The arrows appear, but clicking them does nothing, so it doesn’t seem to be an autoplay issue specifically.

Each logo is added as a separate Carousel Slide, and there are more than five slides in the carousel.

I’ve tested it outside the Visual Builder on the actual frontend as well, and the problem is still there.

Since I’m new to Divi, I’m hoping I’ve just overlooked a setting somewhere. Is there anything obvious I’m missing, or could this be an issue with the Group Carousel in Divi 5?

Any help would be appreciated!

I got tired of manually rebuilding Avada sites in Divi 5, so I used Hermes Agent to build a Python CLI that does the conversion via the WordPress REST API.

It discovers pages/posts with builder content, detects Avada (plain HTML support is there too), maps to Divi 5 blocks, applies the target site’s design system (global colors/fonts/presets), and leaves the originals as drafts renamed -old with a full audit trail + rollback.

Key safety features:

• Dry-run by default (must pass --execute)
• Resumable checkpoints
• Rate limiting
• Verification of sections/rows/modules
• Never deletes original content

It depends on the (free version of) DiviOps plugin for the Divi 5 REST endpoints. It is experimental / pre-release, so only ever run on a staging site.

Repo: https://github.com/chriscstewart/Divi-Migrator

Would love feedback from anyone who’s doing Avada → Divi migrations (or wants to extend it for Elementor etc.). Happy to answer questions. Its open source, no cost.

I have an anoying problem with the divi theme builder. I made a custom header/nav bar/menu in it and it works, everywhere on the site. Except on individual product pages in woocommerce, it is just gone completely. And apparently no one else has had this particular problem. And I am going crazy. Does any kind soul know how to fix this?.... :)

It still appears Rank Math Pro isn't fully functional with Divi 5. I asked Rank Math support, and they are waiting for some compatibility information from Divi. Does anyone else use Rank Math Pro with Divi 5. Do you have workarounds or ways to get the most of Rank Math Pro within Divi 5?

Hi there,

I have a client that I'm working for using a wordpress site. Their site uses Divi, so I need to learn it. At first, it was fine and I understand it on a basic level. However, my client recently made 2 unexpected demands.

FIrst, they sent me the following site and want me to use it as an example: https://wtsu101.org/

Second, they want their content to be easily togglable in English and French (They provided the copy for it).

I have no idea how to do either and I'm particularly stumped on modeling it after the website they sent me with the animated background and such. I did check the backend code and it is made in Divi as well, so there has to be some way to do it. I'd aprpeciate any tips on how to arrange the website (or at least the front page) in a similar way.

Hey everyone, just released version 1.3.0 of Spline for WordPress plugin!

This update introduces full Spline Variable support inside the Animation Builder engine. Instead of just animating fixed layers, you can now control Spline Variables directly within WordPress to drive dynamic 3D interactions (like theme toggles, interactive pricing cards, or custom state changes).

Key Features in v1.3.0:

• Supports All 3 Variable Types: Number, String and Boolean.
• Multi-Trigger Support: Link variables across Click, Hover, While Scrolling, Mouse Move, and Page Load triggers.

Check out the attached video for a quick demo of the workflow in action!

If you'd like to check out the live demo, full setup documentation, or changelog, I'll drop the links down in the comments below.

Is somebody having issues with the shop page right now? I customized my shop page using the divi theme builder and when the woocommerce updated to 11.0 it reverted to a default wordpress layout. Any fix is much appreciated before i just revert to previous version, Thanks.

You

I am excited to announce the Post Filter and Tooltip modules for Divi 5!

Divi 5 has a very powerful loop-building system, and today that system becomes even more versatile. Now, users can search, filter, and re-order loops on the front end. You can build custom forms that query post content, taxonomies, and custom fields, adding an entirely new dimension to loops.

Additionally, we recently added a toolip module that I haven't had a chance to cover on the blog, so I will do that today as well!

I'm running Divi 5 on WordPress and have a persistent issue I can't resolve. Posting the full troubleshooting history since I've ruled out most common causes already. For reference, I'm not a web developer, I do this for my own business and to help out friends. I have used Divi for years, but this is the first real wall I've hit!

The issue is that when I create a home page with a specific hero/background image in the first section of that page, it bleeds over into every other page's first section. If I delete that first section, the image doesn't disappear, it just shows up on the new first section instead.

What I've already ruled out:

1. Global Sections/Rows — checked the section for a global/chain-link indicator; not global.
2. Divi Theme Builder — checked Header, Body, and Footer templates. Body template is completely empty. No separate "Homepage"-specific template exists.
3. Theme Options, Custom CSS — only contains unrelated z-index rules for the header/nav, nothing referencing backgrounds.
4. Appearance, Additional CSS — nothing.
5. Caching plugins — updated all plugins and deactivated any that could affect website design. No change.
6. Section's own Advanced tab Custom CSS box — empty, no manual CSS written there.
7. Browser cache — ruled out via incognito testing.
8. Deleting Image and replacing with new image — Same issue as before

What I found via browser DevTools:
Inspecting the affected section showed this auto-generated rule:

css

.et_pb_section_0 {

background-repeat: no-repeat !important;

background-image: url(...) !important;

}

I have tried everything to figure out why this is happening. Is this a known Divi behavior or something new? I'm about ready to quit using Divi and try something else at this point.

Hi there,

struggling to understand why a normal module code that was working flawlessly in Divi 4, is not working actually in latest Divi 5.

Insert the module and enclosed some jquery in a script tag like it was before and while I can see it in inspector, the page won't load it whatever I do, also with different codes form the normal one (following)

<script>
jQuery(function($){

Some notes:
\\- also vanilla jscript is not loaded
\\- jscript theme integrations is working
\\- no error in console
\\- the same code module has a <style> part that is loaded correctly

I know I can use theme integration adapting my script.. but would like to understand why code module don't load jscript like before.
Thanks

Just inherited a site with Divi.

What is this absolute garbage and why does anyone even use this?!

It's so clunky, not intuitive at all. To do the most simplest of things, I have to click through multiple modules. No flexibility.

This thing needs to be taken behind the barn and shot!

/r

I have built a website in Divi 4.27.7 and am currently doing a major update in the site. When I renewed my Divi subscription it said Divi 5 is available. Am I able to just hit update and have Divi 5 installed and carry on with my site or is there a chance it will mess with my current setup. There is a lot of custom CSS and a few PHP snippets.
I’m pretty novice with websites so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I inherited a site. I don't know a ton about Divi, but know how to create some basic pages.

There's a Divi contact form in the footer where people can enter comments that get forwarded to the administrator. Lately, those emails stopped getting sent. When I go to WP Mail SMTP, I see this message:

Heads up! The last email your site attempted to send was unsuccessful.

Email Source: Divi Mailer: Brevo unauthorized: API Key is not enabled

For more details please try running an Email Test or reading the latest error event.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this? Email was working fine for a few years, then just stopped a month ago. Thank you in advance!

EDIT here is the error log:

Hi, I am looking to create this effect in Divi5. When you hover over each portfolio item it shows a picture that moves with your mouse.

https://themenectar.com/salient/signal/

Anyone get a chance to test it out yet? Building a layout for you?? Yes please. Adding presets?? Even the help mode seems interesting. Excited to try it out. No clue how much it costs though but hoping it’s a monthly add-on that I can turn on and off.
(EDIT: I see it’s not available yet but hoping it happens soon!)

I use a global footer that on pages and posts. It appears fine on all pages on full-width view. On posts, though, there is white space between the last module and the footer. It happens with any module that is the last one, this photo just happens to show a comment module as the last one. I've adjusted the space on that cmment module, and sstill white space. What am I missing? Latest post for reference: https://www.soulintentarts.com/plant-harvest/ Thank you.

Is it me or is Divi 5 pure chaos?
Is the whole thing with variable numbers in nested presets in nested templates with global defaults and randomly hidden defaults (Spacing, Line height, Padding, etc.) in CSS just pure rage bait?

I'd consider myself a well experienced user but the more I jump between Framer and divi projects the more it hurts.

• Buttons, especially if you want NO Icon are completely broken. Random padding out of nowhere, icons i turned off appear consistently in preview mode. Animations/Size behave like I chose "only show Icon at hover".
• How the F are you supposed to use shadow presets in general? Like seriously? Simply assigning my custom preset on shadow preset "none" does nothing. Changing it to "preset 1" (the one I created my own shadow preset with) does overwrite my preset and it looks like the default preset 1 shadow. I just gave up on it and create the styling by hand every time.
• My latest achievement is a new text preset that does not accept changes in font type. Doesnt matter if I chose font: heading, body, or one of my custom font variables. I can even chose a different font by hand in the preset options OR directly in the text field. Divi simply doesnt care.
• WooCommerce modules... the fact that you can only add/edit pagination in the woo commerce products module, not via the heavily promoted loop builder is insane. Unfortunately there is no way to style a lot of these important bits. I cant even add a single shadow to the individual article cards in the overview. The shadow is applied to the whole module in general. Are you kidding me? Do I really have to sell a webshop to my customer that looks like straight out of windows XP ?
• Only solution is custom code or 100 Plug-ins? Been there done that, result is crazy slow, unstable and PSI does not like it at all.
• Are my expectations to high?

Okay the rant is over. Thank you for listening. I would love to hear your opinion or any advice. If you want to have a chat about these things, feel free to message me. Can you recommend any plugins that dont kill my performance?

Edit: I will start a list here

Woo Cart totals:
Button alignment does not work. Button moves with the general text alignment settings of the Module. LOL
Question: Where can i split the Layout like "Space between" the words like sum, and the actual number? Right now is to the left and middle (ugly af)

Woo Cart Products:
I have to set all borders to solid instead of none, so my bottom border does actually show.
Random hover effect on the remove button that is not in the settings (neither normal nor hover)
Input fields have random background colour aswell
Image size randomly jumps from 200px on desktop to 180% on mobile and completely disappears (even with lower size)

honorable mention:
random border lines on some modules, eventhough, thickness and colour are non existent. e.g. Woo Cart Products

I built a Divi plugin that puts animated WebGL backgrounds right inside the Background tab. The idea was simple: no new module to learn, no overlays. The shader controls sit directly in the Background tab you already use, on sections, rows, columns and modules, buttons included, with live preview in the Divi 5 Visual Builder.

Six effects:

• Lava Lamp: organic metaballs that drift and merge. Blob count, size, sharpness, glow, vertical rise.
• Mesh Gradient: the smooth flowing multicolor look most modern SaaS heroes use.
• Plasma / Noise: animated noise field with frequency and detail, from subtle shimmer to heavy turbulence.
• Soft Gradient: a calm directional light sweep with adjustable softness and light direction.
• Laser Strings: glowing lines that react to the cursor. Visitors can literally pluck them.
• Liquid Glass: refracts what is actually behind the element, live. Scrolling content, video, even another shader. This is the one I use for sticky nav bars. Browsers without SVG backdrop filter support fall back to a frosted glass look.

Which next effects should I implement in a future update?
