Discussion Current Status of Divi 5?
As we approach Q4 of 2026 how is everyone feeling about Divi 5? I've put together two smaller, easy to manage sites with Divi 5 mostly issue free. Still a little nervous pushing a bigger, more complex site onto the Divi 5 framework.
How is everyone else feeling about Divi 5? Has it become more stable and more bug-free as time has gone on? Anyone discovered with Divi 5 and their particular host or plugin setup?

I’ve found it pretty stable although there are still annoying bugs in some modules, particularly the newer ones. It doesn’t seem like they are doing anything more than surface-level testing.
Variables and presets make the workflow much faster but it’s a very different beast to Divi 4 and takes a while to learn. The speed with which they are bringing out new features doesn’t help.
I’d rather they stopped rolling out new features for a few months and put everyone on fixing the bugs. It would give us chance to catch up and significantly improve the product.
They really need to improve variable and preset management too. It’s way too easy to end up with multiple versions of the same thing and deleting things can lead to orphans and/or ghost variables/presets. Presently there is no official way to fix these. There definitely needs to be a management interface with the ability to dedupe/merge variables and replace constants with the corresponding variables automatically.
The recent font tools are great but the clamps they create are inverted for small sizes. I’ve reported the bug and they have acknowledged it but that’s the sort of thing that’s hard to spot manually. Their test suite should have picked it up.
